Elisa Ponte says that happiness should not be a goal to be achieved and that it is possible to be happy “now”

The search for happiness is an ongoing process in everyone’s life. And since a new year is beginning, how about making some changes to be happier? Therapist Elisa Ponte believes in happiness as a philosophy of life.

“Use happiness as a philosophy of life in 2025 and experience the best year of your life. Imagine that 2025 will be the year in which you reach your full potential for success, having incredible results in all areas of your life: emotional, financial, intellectual, spiritual, etc. Understand that happiness does not need to be achieved as a goal, you choose to be happy now with the tools you already have. Being happy is simple, easy and practical. We just need to make some adjustments to use the tools we already have effectively.”

The expert gave some practical guidelines for you to be happier in 2025.

-Pen or pencil in hand, sheet of paper, environment where you feel safe and comfortable, perhaps a shower before this practice can make you more relaxed. Tea or water to drink and we can start our “Mental Detox”. Mind and body are connected.

-The first step is to align your body physiology with your mental desires. Remember that happiness is available to everyone. There is no need to get anywhere or have anything to enjoy this highly valuable feeling. Your time is limited and unique. Let’s put this movement of positivity into practice in 2025.

-Now that you are relaxed in your safe environment, start by closing your eyes, breathing slowly and intentionally, trying to look back on only the positive moments you have experienced.

-Enhance all your energy and bring the most to yourself. Ask questions and start listening to your positive internal dialogues. For example: what were the best moments I experienced in 2024? What were my best days? What were my greatest achievements? Bring back as many positive memories as possible and in your own way, be grateful for each positive experience you have had.

-Empower yourself and declare that, even in the challenging days of 2024, you had opportunities to experience extraordinary moments.

-When you are overflowing with positive emotions, open your eyes and do a mental detox. Eliminate everything that does not make sense for the realization of your dreams.

-Write down everything you have done that worked and apply the same formula with new adjustments for your new goals and challenges, ensuring that you can choose to be constantly happy with everything that is already inside you.

-Every day we have new opportunities, take advantage of your state of presence to write down all your goals for this new phase of your life.

-Free yourself from hurts, sadness, negative thoughts and emotions.

-The safest and easiest way to live a full life is to start being grateful for everything you already have. Celebrate with great joy all the achievements and victories you have already achieved and declare them verbally.

-Sign on paper everything you will accomplish in 2025.

-With faith, conviction, certainty, persistence, love, passion and self-knowledge you will have the happiest year of all that you have ever experienced. 2025 the year of fulfillment.
