São Paulo – With over two decades of experience in clinical psychology, Marcela Amaral Moreira has established herself as a leading voice in the contemporary debate on mental health and neurodiversity in Brazil. A specialist in neuropsychology and mental health, with an MBA in Human Resources Management, she combines scientific knowledge, clinical practice, and digital innovation to expand the reach of psychology in society.
Throughout her career, Marcela has dedicated herself to treating patients with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism and ADHD, as well as supporting adults experiencing burnout, depression, generalized anxiety, and other mental disorders. Her practice is marked by the combination of technique and empathy, always focusing on human care and personal development.
This journey takes a new chapter in December 2025, when the psychologist releases two co-authored books. The first, published by Rio de Janeiro-based publisher iMulheres—a pioneer in Brazil for exclusively publishing female authors—addresses the feminine universe and its multiple dimensions. The second, Voices of Neurodiversity, will be published by Chave Mestra, the largest co-authored publishing house in Latin America, and is scheduled for release in São Paulo. The book brings together reflections on the challenges and advances related to neurodiversity, offering perspectives that unite science, inclusion, and innovation.
In addition to her clinical and editorial work, Marcela also stands out as a digital strategist, developing projects that connect psychology, neuroscience, and technology. This intersection has allowed her to become a reference in new ways of bringing scientific knowledge to the public, transforming the way psychology reaches people.
With these new releases, Marcela Amaral reaffirms her mission to promote dialogue between mental health, science, and society, broadening horizons on topics that are increasingly at the center of contemporary discussions.
