Young actress Manuelle Calixto is experiencing a special moment as she makes her debut in soap operas, a milestone that symbolizes years of preparation, persistence, and love for the art. Originally from Santa Cruz, she began her artistic journey encouraged by people who recognized her talent early on and, after facing challenges common to the beginning of a career, found in artistic training the path to transform her dream into reality. In an interview, Manuelle and her family talk about her first steps in audiovisual media, the emotion of reaching television, and her expectations for a new phase that promises to further expand her presence in the Brazilian artistic scene.
Manuelle, you’re preparing to experience your first role in a telenovela. How did you feel when you heard the news that this dream was finally becoming a reality?
I was super happy, actually I didn’t imagine it would be so fast, but I always dedicate myself fully. I want to do everything perfectly.
Her journey began with the encouragement of people who recognized her talent for acting. Do you remember when you started to feel that you really enjoyed acting and being in front of the cameras?
I’ve always loved recording myself; ever since I was little, I’d ask to have my dances recorded, and everyone around me always told my mom to put me in a theater because I was great at it.

Before this TV debut, you participated in the short film “School of Villains.” What did that experience in audiovisual media teach you to better prepare you for this new project?
The experience was definitely about the cameras, the concentration, knowing how to enter and exit the scene.
Your family faced closed doors and difficult times before this opportunity arrived. What does the support of your mother and those close to you mean to you on this journey?
My mother always shielded me from those moments, and always said that things would work out eventually. They mean everything to me, they support me in everything, thank God.

The “Let’s Make Art” course was important in your artistic preparation. What do you most enjoy learning in the acting classes and training sessions?
Without a doubt, the “Let’s Make Art” course was essential for me. There I learned techniques that I didn’t know before; it’s a great course for preparation.
Making your debut in a soap opera is a very special step, because many people will be able to follow your work on television. How do you imagine the emotion of watching yourself on TV for the first time?
I don’t even know how to explain what I’m feeling right now, I really want to watch it together with everyone, I’m loving this moment. It’s a dream come true.

Even with your busy artistic career, you’re still studying and enjoying your childhood. How do you divide your time between school, preparation, filming, and fun.
Yes, I’m still studying, I love studying and playing, my days are very busy. I only have free time on Mondays, so I play a lot. From Tuesday to Saturday I have the “Let’s Make Art” course, I have boxing, rhythmic gymnastics, and also swimming. But I manage to balance it all.
Now that you’re starting this new chapter in your career, what artistic dream has become even stronger in your heart for the future?
My dream is to become a great actress, just like Larissa Manoela, Maisa, I also love Grazi Massafera and others. My dream is to reach that level.
