Vicka, as announced in her latest single “Romântica Demais”, is in a phase of exalting the best of feelings. Now, the singer brings all the excitement and the feeling of being on cloud nine, of believing in everything, especially in love, in her most recent release entitled “Já deu Certo”, accompanied by a video clip on YouTube.

The song, written by the artist herself in partnership with Nathan Carvalho, is considered by Vicka to be contagious. The clip, directed by Vinicius Valentim, presents an intimate atmosphere and conveys, in its concept, a nostalgic feeling.

Singer, composer and instrumentalist, Vicka is an artist from Paraná, born in Cascavel, who already has more than 10 years of history with music. She started performing at the age of 12 and had her first songs recorded in the studio at 16. Today, at 27, she stands out among the artists of the new generation. Vicka already has more than 18 million plays of her songs on streaming platforms and 4 million views of her music videos on YouTube. Check out the interview!

Provenly, music is considered a great way to express feelings, and since your last single, you had already given signs that you would be in a new phase of exalting what you feel. How has this period of reflection been?

I believe that music is a powerful way to express emotions. Since my last single, I’ve been looking to explore and share feelings more intensely. This period of reflection has been inspiring and transformative, allowing me to delve deeply into lived experiences and convey them through art.

Promoting an immersion in a mixture of feelings, his new single “Já de certo” portrays from the feeling of being in the clouds to the belief in everything, especially in love. Could you tell us a little more about the creative process to arrive at this track?

“Já gave certo” is a song that has an autobiographical touch. It portrays an early moment of my relationship, when I still lived in São Paulo and faced distance and longing. The creative process involved a partnership with my friend Nathan Carvalho, who helped me turn this story into poetry. Together, we made adjustments to the lyrics until we reached the final result, seeking to create a visual narrative full of imaginative elements.

Their single was released on music platforms on May 4, accompanied by a music video on YouTube. How has the public reception been so far?

Public reception has been extremely positive. Those who follow my work always look forward to the news, and have shown a lot of love and support for the new single and music video. The challenge now is to reach a new audience and conquer people who still don’t know my artistic work.

In addition to you, the project also had the collaboration of Nathan Carvalho, exploring melodies and verses that capture the euphoria of a newfound love. How was the connection between you from the beginning?

I met Nathan in 2019 and since then we started sharing ideas and compositions. One of our first songs together ended up becoming a duet called “Dois pra Cá”. Since then, we have written several songs and strengthened our harmony in melodic lines and poetry. Our connection with music turned into a great friendship over the years, and I even had the opportunity to participate in the Novos Cantos festival, organized by him, in the city of Caetité-BA, in January of this year.

In addition to all this energy conveyed by the song, the music video was also completed by conveying its message, even bringing a touch of nostalgia, reinforced by objects such as polaroids, flashes and blurred cameras. What was it like working with Vinícius Valentim in the conception of the video?

It was a wonderful experience. Vinícius brought several suggestions for the clip and added dynamism to the editing of the images. He was very attentive to my ideas and we worked as a team to achieve the best result in a minimalist and intimate setting. Creativity in editing and in the elements used made the clip perfectly represent the lyrics and energy of the song.

Still talking about the clip, it brings a concept of interaction between the viewer and you. Looking at it that way, what potential do you see in music as a tool for bringing people together?

Music has the power to connect people from different groups. It has the ability to unite because it awakens intrinsic emotions in human beings. I feel that my audience is quite diverse, including adults, young people and children, and in the end everyone converges on a common point: emotion.

Finally, overall, how would you describe the vibe of “It’s all worked out”?

“It already worked” brings a nostalgic atmosphere of a teenage feeling. The expressive guitar and vibrant drums bring euphoria and excitement, making you want to sing out loud and share the news that love has already worked.
