Born in São Jorge do Ivaí, in the interior of Paraná, Elieser attributes his rigorous education and his passion for sport, especially volleyball, as fundamental in his training. The sport not only provided him with a scholarship, but also discipline and determination that accompanied him on his journey as an artist.

How was the transition from an established career as a DJ to participating in Big Brother Brasil?

Big Brother gave me an opportunity on a national level. Before that, I was only recognized regionally in Paraná. He worked as a model, was an athlete and had a strong musical identity with electronic music. When I participated in Big Brother for the first time, I had the chance to take a DJ course and specialize.

It all started when I went to Campos do Jordão, at the Winter Festival, and met Duca Calieri , a DJ from Portugal who was a resident of Kissing Fly in São Paulo. I started playing and felt an incredible synergy, a unique glamour. The song gave me goosebumps and stuck in my mind. I talked to my manager about taking a DJ course with Duca Calieri and, after we became great friends, he taught me for three and a half months. I invested in equipment and started my project as a DJ.

After launching the project, I had a performance at the Spin Break Festival, in Mexico, being the only DJ to perform that year. When I returned, I released a single called “Will Go”, which was successful in Brazil. After that, I took refresher courses in mixing and music production. To this day, I travel all over Brazil with my work as a DJ.

Brazil gave me Big Brother, opening doors for me to show my work as a DJ across the country and break paradigms and prejudices. Many people thought I didn’t really play or that I only did it for money, but it was hard work that allowed me to win over the public, event after event. Thank God, I am consolidated in my career.

Starting your career as a model, you also invested as a DJ and digital influencer. What was this transition like and what did the experience of reality shows contribute to it?

I started my career as a model and established myself as a DJ and influencer. Thank God, I have always invested in music and fashion, two areas in which I work very well, in a real and organic way. Participating in two editions of Big Brother (Rede Globo) and one edition of Power Couple Brasil (Rede Record) gave me a lot of experience and consequently more exposure throughout Brazil and even outside the country. It is very gratifying to be recognized wherever I go, on trips, at events. This stage of my life is wonderful and looking back and seeing that everything I achieved was through music and fashion is incredible.

With over 1 million followers on Instagram, how do you use your platform to connect with your audience and what are your main topics of interest?

I always try to create an approach, respond, do polls, give invitations to events and repost content in which I am tagged. My daily life and my achievements are shared with them, after all, they are the ones who make us believe in our potential and give us the strength to move forward. I am very grateful to all my followers, friends and fans.

In 2019, you participated in Power Couple alongside your wife, Kamilla Salgado. What was the experience of participating in a reality show as a couple like?

It was very different from Big Brother, as the game and dynamics are different. There are many tests that push us to the limit and the tension is constant. We need to be aware of our attitudes, as they can harm our partner. Thank God, Kamilla and I came in very mature and were greatly appreciated by the public out here. In my opinion, the biggest secret is complicity and trust between couples. This makes all the difference in the actions and dynamics of the game.

After the end of BBB13, you and Kamilla established your relationship and got married in 2016. What is it like to balance your personal and professional life, especially with the arrival of your first child in 2020?

I always say that meeting Kamilla was my greatest reward . We built a beautiful family and every step was planned. First we lived together, then we got engaged, and then we got married and started having children. Always taking into account our projects and the professional moment we were living in.

As Kamilla was Miss World Brazil, she was already a public woman and has traveled to many countries, graduated, postgraduate and has 2 colleges, she is super mature and knows how to deal with this artistic environment. After all, she comes from the same background as me, and this makes it much easier to understand and organize our schedules. My events are more concentrated on weekends, which allows us to have a calmer week and plan family trips.

You lived part of your life in São Jorge do Ivaí, a city in the interior of Paraná. What was it like growing up in that environment and how did those experiences shape who you are today?

The fact of being from the countryside, from a simple farming family, made family very valuable to me. I had a rigorous and religious upbringing, I was very focused, despite being an only child. When I was 13, I went to live in Maringá (a bigger city) where I won a scholarship to play volleyball.

How has volleyball influenced your life and career, especially in relation to obtaining scholarships?

Sport was essential in my training. My parents did not have the financial means to pay for private school, so being an athlete allowed me to study at one of the best schools in the state of Paraná and focus a lot on my studies. Sport brought me discipline, controlled my anxiety and made me a better man, for sure.

What are your plans and projects for the future, both professionally and personally?

As a professional, I intend to maintain my project as a DJ and music producer. This year I have already released 2 new songs that are now available on Spotify . I intend to make an investment in the audiovisual part of my show and I have a project to open a company in the automotive aesthetics segment (another passion I have is cars). As a person, we recently moved into our dream apartment in a prestigious neighborhood in São Paulo. New car, daughter who just arrived, our Victoria who turned 4 months old. It’s been a start to the year full of achievements, Thank God.

What advice would you give to people looking to pursue artistic careers, especially those considering participating in reality television?

May they be determined and believe in God, as he has a purpose for each one. “Believe in yourselves.”
