What was it like for you to assume the role of Seu Peru in “Escolinha do Professor Raimundo” and honor the legacy of Chico Anísio?

When I received Cininha’s character, I was a little apprehensive, because I was being bullied at school, where they called me Pablo Vitar because of my hair. However, what Cininha told me made all the difference in my decision. She said: “Miguel, this character will allow you to show your full acting potential, and the fun is in playing what you are not.” Now, I developed a huge affection for Seu Peru and I had to learn how to roll, maybe that was the biggest difficulty, hahaha. I am very happy to give life to this character that Chico Anysio wrote especially for the late Orlando Drumond.

What are your expectations regarding the show directed by Cininha de Paula and how has it been working alongside André Lucas?

My expectation is to see the theater packed. In addition, Cininha is amazing at what she does and has a unique vision to understand what each actor brings to their character. Working with André Lucas has been an incredible experience, as he loves to improvise, and you need to be prepared to respond to each improvisation.

In addition to the play, you will also be present in the film “Viva a Vida”. Can you tell us a little about your experience on this project and your character?

I think making movies is every actor’s dream, and I don’t have words to describe this experience. Getting to know a new culture, playing a little Jew, was wonderful. The best part was wearing the kippah and understanding its full meaning, which is nothing more than always having God’s presence in mind.

How do you reconcile your artistic career with school life and other activities?

I confess that my life is quite hectic, because I do several activities. But I got used to it, and when I’m on vacation, I miss it. In the morning, it’s all school related, and in the afternoons, I have a different activity each day, sometimes even two. In the evening, I set aside an hour for daily studies and another hour for studying texts. By 10 pm I’m in bed. On weekends, I create content for my social networks. However, the one who really gets mad is my mother, who has to take care of all these activities of mine, in addition to taking care of my brothers and dealing with my father’s work, hahaha.

What inspires you as an actor and influencer? What are your references in the art world?

I like everything that involves arts, that’s my biggest inspiration. I have several references, such as Miguel Falabella (comedy), Tony Ramos (dramaturgy), Péricles, Bruno Mars, Mozart, Justin Bieber and many others… The list is extensive.

What is it like for you to share your passion for music on social media? Does that influence your career as an actor in any way?

I like to share everything that makes me feel good on social media, and music is part of that. When I’m with my violin, I can transport myself to another dimension… I can’t explain it well. Of course, this ends up helping me as an actor, because I can transfer myself to the character in a unique way.

What are your plans and goals for the future as an actor? Is there a dream role or project you’d like to do?

My plans are to keep improving myself more and more and achieve recognition for my work. I dream of participating in soap operas and having this new experience, who knows acting with people I admire.

How do you deal with the pressure and challenges of the entertainment industry, especially being so young?

I try not to focus on the challenges and always try to look at the positive side of everything. Difficulties always exist in any area, not just in entertainment, and that’s why I always try to vibrate with the good side of things.

In addition to theater and cinema, are you interested in exploring other artistic areas, such as television and music?

Yes, that’s all my dedication. I would love to have a character who also plays the violin…

What do you like most about the art of acting and how do you hope to impact people through your work?

I like being able to live the lives of multiple characters. I want to impact people with my art, inspiring children who, like me, can believe that they can pursue their dreams, even with many obstacles.
