How was the experience of playing the character Aníbal in the seventh season of the Portuguese soap opera “Festa é Festa”? What stood out to you most about this role?

The best was being with the cast, which is amazing! The production of the soap opera, the direction were super receptive and recording at Plural studios was a very interesting experience, I really missed recording.

In addition to acting, you are also involved in side projects, such as the Sala de Star cultural space in Lisbon. Can you tell us a little more about this project and what is your vision for it?

The Sala de Star is a very important achievement for the cultural scene of Lisbon, it is an environment in a room format for people to feel at home, watered with art, culture, good drinks and wines, as well as a point for the art of meeting.

You directed the documentary “Aquele Abraço”, which recorded the biggest beach cleaning action in the world. How did the idea for this project come about and what was the impact of this action?

This project came about through a conversation with the director and creator of Route , Simão , he had already done some beach cleaning activities with him And I fell in love with a project, one day Simão told me that he would like to embrace the beach at Recreio dos bandeirantes to Barra da Tijuca, I thought it was a crazy idea but at the same time necessary. have participated.

His commitment to environmental causes is notable, including the sustainable construction of “EcoFlats Caraiva”. Can you share with us how this initiative came about and what were the biggest challenges during the process?

Once immersed in sustainability and understanding how important it is to do your part to collaborate with mother nature and I decided to make the first project of sustainable houses with polymer blocks using recyclable plastic waste and waste taken from the ocean to compose the bricks of the construction. The biggest challenge was building the distance. Logistics was also a challenge, apart from the natural challenges of a conventional work, there was the challenge of being an innovative work carried out in Caraíva, I confess that it was not easy, but the result has been very rewarding.

Throughout your career, you acted in several soap operas and series, such as “Verão 90”, “Orgulho e Paixão”, “A Força do Querer” and more. What is the role that marked you the most so far and why?

I think all roles are extremely important, but I confess that the ones I identify with the most are alternative characters and off the curve I like villains and characters with a strong personality. One of the characters I most enjoyed playing was Corporal Góis de Malhação because he had a very involving mystery.

Another character I had the privilege of playing was Juarez in the film Horizonte directed by Rafael Calomeni, a very intense character and the construction process was simply wonderful with the team.

In addition to acting, you have also directed and written films. What is the creative process like for you when you’re behind the camera?

I like to participate 360° in the creative process behind the camera, it makes it a lot easier when I’m acting or directing, producing or writing, because, when going through several chairs of these creations, you become the best professional in the area in which you’re working within that project, that’s why I really like to diversify the arts because navigating through them I become better and better as a human being and artist.

In the context of your multi-faceted career, how do you balance time between acting, side projects and your own ventures?

I like this creative and productive intensity I’ve always liked art and business in fact I think that art and business mix, I like to diversify the challenges to get out of my comfort zone because that makes me a human being with differentiated skills that when in a art or in a specific business is applied makes me different, being able to have an amplified vision in decision-making or in the creative part.

You lived in different places, like BH, Rio de Janeiro and Lisbon. How did these experiences in different cities influence your career and outlook on life?

The more we leave our comfort zone the better we become because having the experience of leaving your city and going to live in another country in another culture always helps us to evolve I think that everyone should have this experience of leaving the comfort zone and facing the again this makes all the difference to your results.

What are your plans and goals for the future, both in acting and in other projects you’re involved in?

I intend to continue with my artistic career and serve in a diversified way to carry out projects that I identify with and I believe that today I consider myself a “business artist”.

Finally, what do you like most about the entertainment industry and what are the main lessons you learned along your journey as an actor and entrepreneur?

My biggest lesson is that both in the arts and in business, we are always going to be learning and always being able to improve and the ultimate goal of this journey is to become a better human being, to always be ready to serve and improve those around you, your environment, the people you live with, when you are in service with the purpose of amplifying the positivity in their attitudes, your walk becomes blessed.
