Gabriela Ádie was one of the most talked about names among the runners at the last edition of São Paulo Fashion Week. A trans model and influencer, she became known for her authenticity when sharing her gender transition journey on social media. “My transition was fully documented on the internet. I found a refuge on social media, a place where people welcome me and understand exactly who I am, without judgement”, shares Gabi.

Over time, Gabriela Ádie, from Minas Gerais, gained recognition for her authenticity and courage in sharing her entire process. This recognition opened doors for her to become a model and thus be able to model for big brands, becoming an icon in the fashion and beauty scene.

At SPFW, number 56, the trans model was one of those who walked the catwalk the most and shone in eight shows. In an interview, Gabi commented on his experience modeling for brands. “Patrícia Vieira’s fashion show, which opened the season, had a very beautiful feel, 80s disco style. The makeup designed by Celso Camura was beautiful. It was one of the shows that I received the most compliments on. The Depedro brand is a completely masculine brand. Only boys paraded at the casting and I was the only girl who participated in the parade, precisely because I have facial features that have a bit of an androgynous feel. It was my first time modeling for just one brand, so it was a very incredible moment, I felt welcomed by the brand.”

In this edition, the model walked the catwalk for the brands Patrícia Vieira, Depedro, Martins, The Paradise, Mateus Cardoso, Weider Silveiro, Santa Resistência and Bold Strap.
