Singer reveals some plans for the upcoming year
Anthony Carrera talked a bit about the past year and his future plans. In the conversation, he commented on the Spanish albums he released in 2023 and hinted that the new international project involves exactly this foreign niche. The artist emerged this year in romantic pop playlists, with songs like “16.437 Días,” “Ahora ya es tarde,” and “Me dedique a perderte,” among others.
He’s also preparing for the first half of next year, the release of an exclusive album in the Spanish language. “The acceptance from the foreign audience is a surprise; we’re creating songs, videos, shows for Brazil and abroad, and the tour is becoming something grand and very special. A work that I consider the best of my career because it’s my essence and what I love to sing,” revealed Anthony.
He also mentioned that initially, the name of the new project will be “Anthony Carrera from Brazil to the world” and will feature prominent figures in music production, band formation, as well as surprises and special collaborations worldwide.
In December, Anthony will also release the hit “Hoy tengo ganas de ti,” a fully Spanish song that was the theme for the Mexican soap opera “La tempestad,” and the artist re-recorded this song with a new interpretation, which was at the top of the charts in Mexico and worldwide. The recording is a cover of the original version by Miguel Gallardo, dated back to 1976.
The lyrics speak of love, losses, and have a strong melody and chorus that captivate the audience from start to finish. Wherever Anthony goes and sings this song, he leaves his mark through his unique interpretation and strong voice.
