One of the most anticipated times of the year is Carnival, and the long-awaited parties come to excite people of all ages! And, above all, embrace diversity!

pre- carnival weekend in the capital of São Paulo was busy! With the biggest blocks parading through all regions of São Paulo early in the morning (03/02), one of the most anticipated debuts was that of the Ilariê block , which paid a super tribute to the queen of the little ones Xuxa Meneguel !

It all started with public relations person Diego Rodrigues, who is a die-hard fan of the blonde, and whenever he can, he transforms into his version of Xuxa to give a close-up at events and parties – many of which include him signing up to the trendy VIP guest list! Inspired by this feeling, he brought together friends from the fashion world in 2018, creating a meeting of the Xuxa gang, until the dream gained weight and became reality that year, and the ILARIÊ block paraded in Pinheiros at Omaguas square!

The fashion market was in full force at the show, honoring the PR and returning to being a child, bringing to life the iconic paquitas and paquitos, names such as Isabel Hickman and her son, Amanda Welsh, Fernanda Liz, Evelyn Moraes, Edu Hyde, Bruna Castanheiras, Driely Bennettone , Mateus Abdala, the twins Swara Sampaio and Swammy Sampaio who were twin sisters, Mariane Mc Gowan , the ex bbb Lia Key, Gracie Hans, and characters such as Praga – actor Theo Nogueira, Dengue – Fabricio Servelim , among others… As well as a big surprise with the iconic replica of the X ship!!

Diego closely followed the construction of the nave, as he himself made a point of bringing this emblematic symbol to the streets – “The nave brings a message of hope, of a better tomorrow! Bringing it to the avenue was a feeling of duty fulfilled! Definitely a dream come true!! It was beautiful to have my friends, and so many new people there, celebrating, enjoying a carnival of diversity and love! Our queen sent me a message wishing me a beautiful day, but unfortunately she couldn’t being with us. I feel honored to be able to live this persona for the children, representing so much to this new generation.” says Diego.

Leaving directly from inside the Nave, Diego and his Xuxa put on a beautiful show for the short and tall people who sang in a big chorus, including many choreographies from the paquitas, all of the queen’s biggest hits. Closing with one of Xu ‘s most emblematic songs , Lua de Cristal, Xuxa’s gang sent everyone present into a frenzy with a lot of emotion!

Afterwards, a super fanfare band continued the busy day! The children were also present and were able to have fun in scavenger hunts, and even received gifts from Mimo Toys , beautiful comic books from Turma da Mônica and to cool off the heat, ice cream from Baccio de Latte.

Diego should still take Bloco Ilariê for a special participation in the Rio de Janeiro carnival on 11/02, stay tuned!
