Gabriel Silva, a renowned actor and podcast host, is making a name for himself as a multifaceted force in the entertainment world. With an impressive film career, he has acted alongside Hollywood stars such as Ben Affleck and Zoe Saldana in Live By Night, and made a memorable appearance in Godzilla: King of the Monsters alongside Elizabeth Ludlow, Anthony Ramos, and O’Shea Jackson. His diverse talent and impactful performances have caught the attention of critics and audiences alike.

But Gabriel’s talents extend beyond the silver screen. He has also ventured into the fashion world, modeling for FadeLife Clothing, an Atlanta-based clothing brand. Additionally, his entrepreneurial spirit shines through his award-winning podcast, Just Talk With Gabe (JTWG), which is broadcast in six countries and available on most platforms. On the podcast, Gabriel explores relevant topics and seeks to positively influence his listeners, reflecting his desire to provoke meaningful discussions and inspire change. With a career spanning acting, fashion, and digital media, Gabriel Silva continues to expand his impact on the entertainment industry and solidify his presence as a multifaceted influencer.

How do you balance your various careers, including acting in major productions and managing an award-winning podcast? What strategies do you use to stay focused and productive?

Balancing everything, in addition to being a full-time student, sometimes can take a toll. I have had to learn how to prioritize and make sure that I get all that I need to get done with making sure to add some time in to have fun as well. It is not always easy, but I manage…somehow! Lol I would be lost without my notes app on my phone. That is my productivity go-to. To stay focused, I put on my headphones, play a mix of Paramore, Evanescence, and Green Day and get to work!

You’ve had the opportunity to work with major Hollywood stars like Ben Affleck and Zoe Saldana. How have these experiences influenced your development as an actor and helped shape your approach to your work?

Having the opportunity to work with Ben Affleck made me want to become a director myself. I got the opportunity to not only be on set as an actor, but to go behind the camera and see how things work from that end. Being able to do so shaped my desire to work both in front of the camera and behind it.

Your work in “Live By Night” and “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” featured diverse and challenging roles. Can you share a specific moment from these projects that had a significant impact on you?

For Live By Night, being able to learn first-hand that movies are made up of more than just actors was very eye-opening. It was an amazing opportunity to see a set in its entirety and all of the amazing jobs that it takes to bring a story to life. Unquestionably, being a part of Live By Night, really did help me decide what I wanted to pursue for the rest of my life, with a few unexpected additions such as Just Talk With Gabe. The significant impact moment on Godzilla: King of the Monsters, came in the form of me doing my own stunts. You never know what you can do until you try. And I tried AND LOVED it! Hopefully, I can do more stunt work on my future projects.

How did the opportunity to model for FadeLife Clothing come about, and how do you see the intersection between fashion and entertainment in your career?

I saw their account online and loved the style. I messaged them on Instagram to see if they were looking for brand reps and the rest is history! I am honored to partner with a fashion line that is unique and is open to building long-lasting partnerships. I am honestly not very fashion-forward. I would be glad to just show up in a t-shirt and jeans. Lol But, I do know that fashion and the entertainment industry go together. For me, fashion allows me to express myself in a unique way, just as being an actor does. Sometimes I show up in my jeans and t-shirt and other times, I actually put on a suit.

Your podcast “Just Talk With Gabe” has been a success in several countries. What inspired you to start the podcast, and what are some of the most significant topics you’ve discussed so far?

Thank you! We really take pride in having people in other countries listen to us. Just Talk With Gabe started in 2020 during the COVID lockdown. I really didn’t have much to do since we couldn’t go places, and I thought that it would be fun to try something new. As a result of boredom, JTWG was born! Our topics revolve around just having a conversation with the guest. Even though we ask some of the same questions to those that come on, the most interesting part of it all is how each individual answers the same questions, making our conversations significantly unique to each individual.

You aim to positively influence your audience through your podcast. Can you share a specific experience where you felt your work truly made a difference in someone’s life?

Many people message us on social media, whether they are commenting on a specific guest or on something that they heard. We had one listener message us and say how much she enjoyed our podcast and that she loved listening to my cohost and myself. She went on to detail a lot of health issues and other things going on in her life. She said that we give her a few moments of fun and laughter with the podcast. That was something that we didn’t think about or even expect to hear. Being able to bring a smile to someone who needs it makes it all worth it!

What are the next steps for you, both in acting and podcasting? Are there any upcoming projects you’re particularly excited to share with your fans?

For acting, I hope to land a new role sometime soon and keep learning how to become even better at my craft. I also want to get behind the camera more to direct and produce more projects. Additionally, I want to try my hand at writing as well. I don’t have anything yet to share but follow me on social media and stay tuned because I hope to have something to share soon.
