Saint Heart, known for her performances in series such as Babylon, Daisy Jones and the Sixth, The Offer, and in thriller and sci-fi films like Panic, Wicked Game, Another Way to Die, and Alien Storm (alongside Tom Arnold and Kevin Sorbo), is expanding her influence in the entertainment world. The artist recently released her new single, “GIRLS,” which has already garnered over 41,000 streams on Spotify in just two days.

The indigenous actress and singer, with Comanche roots, left Austin, Texas, to conquer Los Angeles, where she quickly made a name for herself. Signed by Universal Music Group before the pandemic, Saint Heart created an innovative sound called ‘tribal pop,’ inspired by her cultural heritage. However, it was in acting that she found another passion, demonstrating her natural charisma and talent by establishing herself in the film industry with over 20 roles in just two years.

You recently released your new single “GIRLS,” which has had an incredible reception with over 41,000 plays on Spotify in just two days. What do you think resonated so strongly with your listeners?

I think that my fans have been waiting for some new music and they are so fired up about the release. Also, who doesn’t love girls? It’s a brat summer and this is a perfect brat song!

Your career as an actress and singer is marked by roles in notable series and films. How do you balance your two passions, music and acting, and what inspires you to maintain that balance?

Writing music is a collaborative process and I enjoy getting together with my writers and producers and create something special. Acting is so fun you get the script and you just want to make the character relate to you as much as possible and sometimes you learn more about who you are when you are learning and practicing a script.

You are partially Comanche and use your cultural heritage to create a unique ‘tribal pop’ sound. How has your culture influenced your musical style and the creation of your songs?

Tribal pop will always be my baby! I love to incorporate Native American traditional music and pop together. Includes the native instruments and storytelling.  I have collaborated with some amazing Native American musicians. I am so proud!

You moved from Austin to Los Angeles and quickly made a mark on the entertainment scene. How was the transition to Los Angeles, and how did you adapt to the new environment?

Moving was a crazy life change. I went from living at home with my parents to living on my own. There was some major challenges and hard times but I had so much faith in myself that I can do this, and I was born for this that it was my goal to stay and prove to everyone that I can and I will. It was the best decision I made.

After the pandemic, you started hosting red carpet events and gaining prominence in acting. How did the pandemic impact your career, and what changed for you during that period?

During the pandemic I actually started my acting journey. I took great classes and learned the basics. Got discovered by a director and that got me out of class and on set. During the strike, I had the opportunity to host red carpets. It was such a thrilling experience because I got to meet some big time directors and actors and made all sorts of new friends in the business.

With roles in over 20 films in just two years, how do you choose which projects to accept, and what do you look for in a script or character?

I like a challenge, I love to take on roles with accents and character traits that I am unfamiliar with. That makes me a better actor. I don’t like to play it safe. I’m always looking for the next daring role.

Your single “GIRLS” was a rapid success. Do you have plans to release more music or musical projects in the near future? What can fans expect from you soon?

I am currently in pre production for the GIRLS music video and back in the studio working on new music, and looking to perform very soon.
