The CAS’ALMA environment, conceived by the young 25-year-old interior designer, is one of the largest spaces in the 2024 edition of the exhibition.

The young interior designer, Laryssa Toledo, from Balneário Camboriú, made a grand debut at CASACOR/SC, which opened to the public in Itapema.

The 2024 edition of the largest architecture, interior design, and landscaping exhibition in the Americas revolves around the theme “The Present, Now,” as a way to reflect on the construction of the future.

Laryssa is part of the cast of 38 professionals, signing the CAS’ALMA environment, which can be visited until August 11 at the Boulevard Royal Residence, a new building by RDO Empreendimentos.

The professional decided to participate in the event, bringing her own perspective on the profession: “I see the exhibition as a great opportunity to give voice to those who appreciate the style I work with.

The CAS’ALMA space comes to showcase my unique vision,” she emphasizes. As with her other projects, CAS’ALMA was designed with attention to environmental issues.

The space, which simulates a house with a living room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom, features elements that highlight this point, such as a garden on the balcony and cobogós, perforated bricks that divide the rooms, prioritizing natural ventilation and lighting.

There are also rustic materials, such as natural straw in the closet and chairs with European design, which integrate the table between the living room and the kitchen.

Joining the CASACOR cast has always been a dream for 25-year-old Laryssa Toledo.

The designer faced the challenge of bringing to life one of the largest spaces in the exhibition, with a spacious 96 square meters, in just one month. Laryssa was the last professional to confirm participation in the 2024 edition of the exhibition.

Despite the tight deadline, she enthusiastically notes, “It is a great honor for me to be alongside so many competent professionals in an international-level exhibition like CASACOR.” Among the designer’s many intentions with the CAS’ALMA environment is the goal of preserving people’s identity and emotional memory through her work.

This can be seen, for example, in the ceramic dishes with prints made from the last towel of the designers’grandmother,

Paola Silveira Pinto and Vanessa Silveira Pinto Mikozewski.

Today, Laryssa Toledo leads her own interior design office in Balneário Camboriú, bringing personality and functionality to her projects.

“Authentic people have homes that transform into havens,” she concludes.
