Based on scientific methodologies and intensive dynamics, Wendell Carvalho , CEO of Grupo Virtus and a global reference in digital products, promotes “Protagon”, an event that addresses topics such as financial prosperity, relationships and emotional health. After the success of the edition in Rio de Janeiro, which featured moving stories of personal transformations, the last edition of 2024 will be held in Balneário Camboriú, from December 13 to 15.
How did the idea of creating an immersive event like “Protagon” come about? What were your main inspirations?
The idea for Protagon was born from a personal concern that has always been with me: why do some people manage to live successful lives and others do not? This question led me to study and experiment with different human development methodologies. The turning point was my experience at international events such as those hosted by Tony Robbins, which transformed my perception of worthiness and ability. I wanted to bring to Brazil something that combined practical tools and profound experiences to help people achieve an epic life. Thus, Protagon was designed to integrate science, emotion and purpose, allowing participants to reconnect with what really matters.
At the event, you cover topics such as Career, Financial Prosperity and Relationships. Which of these areas usually challenges participants the most and why?
Each area presents its own challenges, but financial prosperity and relationships are the most challenging for participants. People often carry limiting beliefs about money, such as the idea that wealth is negative or unattainable. These beliefs prevent them from growing financially and serve as silent saboteurs. In relationships, imbalance between emotional roles and expectations is common, especially in couples who struggle with lack of harmony. These areas require deep work, but by unlocking them, participants can align their values and live more fully.
You use scientifically proven tools in “Protagon”. Could you tell us more about some of these tools and how they apply to personal development?
One of the core tools is the concept of LifeDesign. It helps participants consciously design the life they want to live, with a focus on defining a clear future (our 20-year vision). During the event, we use practical exercises to eliminate internal saboteurs—such as limiting beliefs and traumas—and provide resources so that participants can take control of their decisions. This includes emotional reframing and time management techniques, which are applied in a practical and immediate way, leading to lasting changes.
What would you say is the biggest transformation participants experience after these three intensive days?
The biggest transformation I see is the ability of participants to take back full control of their lives. They stop being victims of their circumstances and start being protagonists. Many come to the event without clarity, stuck in a cycle of stagnation and self-sabotage. After three days of immersion, they leave with a clear vision of the future, tools to take action, and a new mindset of worthiness. It’s incredible to see people who were once lost begin to thrive in all areas of their lives.
During the event in Rio de Janeiro, what was some of the most memorable feedback you received from participants?
In Rio, we heard countless emotional testimonies, but a few really stood out. One couple, who had struggled to conceive for years, shared how the event transformed their relationship and, months later, they discovered they were expecting a child.
Another remarkable story was that of a woman who, on the third day, called her parents after years of silence and managed to resolve conflicts that had tormented her for decades. This feedback is proof that Protagon not only inspires, but creates profound and tangible changes in people’s lives.
How do you balance your personal and professional life, especially considering your busy schedule of events throughout Brazil?
Balancing these areas is a constant challenge, but I apply what I teach at Protagon in my daily life. I manage my time clearly, prioritizing quality time with my family. My wife, Karina Peloi Carvalho, also plays a fundamental role, as we share values and goals that help us align our routines. I see each area of my life as an interconnected pillar, and the search for balance is what keeps me energized and connected.
On December 13th, 14th and 15th, you will be in Balneário Camboriú for the last Protagon of 2024. What can new participants expect that is different in this edition?
What makes each Protagon different are the people. I have no doubt that this edition will be very special, as we plan to bring even more intensity and depth to the experiential dynamics. I am sure that the energy of this group will be the biggest difference, people who, with the right tools, will design a transformative 2025, and live the life they deserve to live.
Balneário Camboriú is an incredible place, and the environment will be carefully prepared to provide a space for total immersion. Participants can expect a unique experience and an event that will undoubtedly be a milestone in their lives. I can’t give too many details, but I can say without any hesitation that Protagon will be the best experience these people have had in the last 10 years.
What motivates you to continue expanding “Protagon” and impacting so many people in different cities?
My motivation comes from the stories of transformation that I hear at each event. Seeing people taking charge of their lives and thriving in all areas reminds me daily of the power of human development. I also believe that we are creating a larger movement, a legion of unstoppable people who are changing their stories and leaving legacies. This purpose is what drives me to continue.
