Known for her charisma in front of the camera and her multifaceted talent, Paige Mobley won over audiences as the host of the Emmy-winning Instant Dream Home on Netflix, where she proved she knows just as much about design as she does about television. With roots in Birmingham, Michigan, and a background in musical theater from Pace University in New York, she first gained visibility on America’s Next Top Model and has since expanded her career as an actress, producer, and advocate for female-driven storytelling. In addition to appearing in the new Superman film directed by James Gunn, Paige also stars in the romantic comedy Love Virtually and leads the production company Longmeadow Productions, solidifying her place as one of the most promising voices of a new generation of women in entertainment.

You grew up surrounded by the world of renovations and design, thanks to your parents’ direct influence. What was it like growing up amid so many home changes, and how did that experience shape your perspective on what a home is and the emotions it carries?

Growing up, I moved a lot. It was hard. At the time, I didn’t realize how much that environment and constant change would shape me. Looking back, I see that it taught me a home isn’t just a physical location; it’s the heart of a family. A home carries so much emotion, and my upbringing, particularly, has made me appreciate that more.

Your career started early, with appearances in well-known series and later a memorable run on America’s Next Top Model. How has this diverse journey — between runways, cameras, and construction — helped shape who you are today as an artist and presenter?

It’s definitely been an unconventional mix! Being in front of the camera taught me confidence and theatricality, and working behind the scenes/ in home reno, gave me grit and resourcefulness. Those different worlds have taught me how to connect with people across all walks of life — whether I’m sharing a story, designing a space, or just getting to know someone on set.

On Instant Dream Home, you show that you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty. What was the most unexpected challenge you faced during a renovation on the show — and how did you handle it in the heat of the moment?

Honestly, every day on IDH we were thrown crazy curveballs with only hours left on the clock. There was this instant jolt of panic, but then you realize: there’s no time. You just pivot, problem-solve, and trust your team. I’ve found that when things go wrong, it’s less about being perfect and more about being present. That mindset — stay calm, stay creative — has saved me more than once on and off set!

The 2023 Daytime Emmy was an important recognition for the show. What was it like for you to receive that news and feel that your work helped elevate such an inspiring program to that level?

It was surreal, honestly. The Emmy wasn’t just a win for us — it was a win for reality TV storytelling that makes a difference. Instant Dream Home is about more than makeovers; it’s about giving hardworking families something deeply meaningful. Getting recognized for that, on such a big stage, made me feel proud not just of the show, but of the intention behind it.

Your role in the new Superman movie, directed by James Gunn, marks a new chapter in your acting career. What drew you to this project, and how has it been to be part of such an iconic universe like DC?

There’s something thrilling about stepping into a world that so many people already love and cherish. When I got the role, I felt this mix of excitement and responsibility. James Gunn brings such a fresh energy to the DC universe, and being a part of this new era is an absolute honor.

You move naturally between the glamour of the screen and the simplicity of hobbies like cooking, baking, and watching musicals. How do you balance these two versions of yourself — the TV star and the woman who enjoys life’s simple pleasures?

To me, they’re not separate — they’re both me. I can spend a whole day in hair and makeup and then come home, throw on sweats, and bake banana bread while watching Singing in the Rain. That balance keeps me grounded. I think the more pressure you have in your public life, the more essential it is to lean on the things that bring you peace.

With so many projects in the works and new achievements — from Netflix to film, and your own production company — what kind of legacy do you most hope to build, both for yourself and for those who follow your journey?

I hope to build a legacy that shows it’s possible to live boldly in multiple lanes. I hope to be remembered not only for what I’ve done, but for how I made others feel.
