A reference in beauty and lifestyle on Instagram, the influencer shares her tricks for keeping her skin healthy while traveling — even with changes in climate, time zones and routine

With over 68 thousand followers on Instagram, influencer Camilli Brito (@camilliviaja) is an expert in combining beauty and travel — and she never gives up on taking care of her skin, no matter where she is in the world. Even with the rush of airports, changes in climate and an unusual routine, Camilli shows that it is possible to maintain an effective and practical skincare routine, as long as you use the right products and a little organization.

Living in New York and used to living between suitcases, Camilli shares with her followers how she adapts her routine to take care of her skin on the go — especially since she lives with eczema, a condition that requires extra attention in new environments and dry climates.

1. Compact but complete kit

Camilli relies on a smart toiletry bag, with miniature products or refillable packaging that ensure lightness in your suitcase, without sacrificing efficiency. Some of her essential items include:
• Facial cleansing oil, which removes makeup and impurities without damaging sensitive skin;
• Moisturizers with ceramides and hyaluronic acid, to reinforce the skin barrier during long flights and climate changes;
• Thermal water or soothing mists, to refresh and calm the skin during the day;
• Light-textured sunscreen, which does not clog pores and keeps the skin protected even under strong sunlight.

2. Extra care during the flight

During long flights, Camilli avoids using makeup and focuses on layered hydration. The airplane cabin has extremely low humidity, which favors dryness and can worsen conditions such as eczema. For this reason, she emphasizes the application of emollient products before boarding and always carries a lip balm and hand cream in her carry-on bag.

3. Adapting to the local climate

When arriving in new destinations, especially where the climate is drier or warmer, Camilli adjusts her skincare routine: she avoids using very heavy products in humid environments and intensifies hydration in cold regions. The tip is to observe how the skin reacts in the first few days and make small adjustments — without abandoning the routine completely.

4. Less is more

When traveling, Camilli avoids exaggeration and prioritizes the basics well done. “You don’t need to take all the steps of the routine from home. I take the essentials to cleanse, moisturize and protect. The important thing is to stay consistent and respect what the skin is asking for”, she said in her stories.
