The celebration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Angola, held in a solemn ceremony attended by international authorities, has established itself as a diplomatic and strategic milestone in promoting dialogue between continents. In addition to honoring Angola’s history of sovereignty, the event has also served as a forum for dialogue between governments, representatives of the private sector and multilateral institutions.
With delegations from countries in Africa, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East, the occasion highlighted Angola’s growing role as a geopolitical and economic interlocutor, especially in the context of South-South cooperation and the attraction of structural investments to the continent. At a historic moment for multilateral relations, the celebration served as a showcase for Angola’s commitment to regional stability and international integration.
Among the distinguished guests was Manoel Neto, representative of Lion Minerals, a Brazilian businessman based in the United Arab Emirates, who attended the ceremony at the official invitation. Its presence symbolized the consolidation of efforts aimed at building strategic ties between Brazil, the Gulf States (GCC) and the African continent, with special attention to sustainable development, economic diplomacy and the integration of production chains in the mineral sector.
“This is a symbolic and, at the same time, concrete moment for strengthening historical relations between brotherly peoples. It is also an opportunity to design new forms of cooperation that respect local realities and encourage mutual progress,” said Neto, commenting on the dialogues established during the event.
Lion Minerals’ participation reinforces its position as an active agent in the intermediation of international connections that go beyond the economic field, also encompassing values of sovereignty, productive inclusion and social responsibility. With an approach based on business ethics and respect for the territories in which it operates, the company has been expanding its institutional presence in strategic dialogue forums between Latin America, Africa and the Arab Gulf.
The celebration of Angolan independence, in this context, went beyond its celebratory nature and became a concrete platform for convergence between national interests and global visions of development, pointing towards a future of transversal and sustainable cooperation between the countries involved.
