The 6th Brazil Governance Network (RGB) Award in Brasília represents more than a recognition, it symbolizes the strengthening of good governance in its deepest sense. On November 4, the Studio of the National Confederation of Industries (CNI) will host an evening designed to inspire and honor public managers, leaders, and institutions that are transforming Brazil’s public service through integrity, sustainability, and the creation of value for society.
Organized by the Brazil Governance Network (RGB) in partnership with the Latin American Institute of Public Governance and Compliance (IGCP), the event is supported by Banco do Brasil, Caixa Econômica Federal, Sebrae Nacional, and ApexBrasil, reaffirming the strength of an agenda that connects the public and private sectors around ethics, efficiency, and social responsibility.
Under the leadership of its president, Cristiane Nardes Farinon, RGB is experiencing a new cycle marked by the consolidation of its national presence and the dissemination of governance practices that transcend institutional boundaries. Cristiane, who assumed the presidency with the mission of renewing the dialogue between governance and results, has given the movement a modern and participatory identity, guided by inclusion, diversity, and transparency as principles of sustainable development.
“We are witnessing a new era in Brazilian public management, where governance ceases to be a speech and becomes a method. Our role is to inspire managers and demonstrate that efficiency and humanity can walk together,” says the president of RGB.
At her side, Minister Augusto Nardes, Ambassador of RGB and mentor of public governance in Brazil, remains the institutional pillar of the movement, inspiring leaders and managers at all levels of administration. Recognized for his work at the Federal Court of Accounts (TCU) and for his historical contribution to the dissemination of the three-dimensional model of governance: leadership, strategy, and control, Nardes emphasizes that to govern well is to serve with purpose and long-term vision.
“Governance is the path that ensures Brazil’s efficiency, ethics, and sustainability. When the State learns to think strategically, it serves better and protects the future of the next generations,” declares Minister Augusto Nardes.
The winners of the RGB 2025 Award will not only be honored but will also become benchmarks for other public organizations to structure their own governance, compliance, and risk management systems. This award, which celebrates good practices implemented in the public sector, also serves as a thermometer of Brazil’s institutional maturity, indicating what is expected of a modern administration: integrity, transparency, and the delivery of public value.
More than a ceremony, the event is a call for reflection and action. In a context where public trust is being rebuilt, RGB and IGCP reaffirm their commitment to building bridges between technical excellence and purpose. As Cristiane Nardes summarizes, “Good governance is the art of turning principles into results and results into trust.”
The RGB 2025 Award reinforces that public governance is more than a concept, it is a collective movement in defense of efficiency, equity, and human rights. And under the firm leadership of Cristiane and the visionary guidance of Minister Augusto Nardes, Brazil once again demonstrates that good governance is possible and that excellence, when shared, multiplies.
