Mayor Ricardo Nunes received the president of Corinthians, who presented an official jersey personalized with the name of Regina Nunes, a passionate Corinthians fan and godmother of the Gaviões da Fiel Social Department.
This week, Mayor Ricardo Nunes welcomed Osmar Stabile, president of Sport Club Corinthians Paulista, to São Paulo City Hall, in an institutional visit marked by symbolism and emotion. During the meeting, Stabile presented an official jersey personalized with the name of First Lady Regina Nunes, recognized for her strong connection with the black and white club.

Although not present, Regina Nunes publicly shared her emotion upon receiving the honor:
“As a passionate Corinthians fan, it was a very emotional moment. I have immense affection and deep respect for this team, which is part of my history and my heart,” she declared on social media.

The First Lady also took the opportunity to reinforce her admiration for the club and highlight her role as godmother of the Gaviões da Fiel Social Department, where she works to support initiatives focused on inclusion, citizenship, and solidarity.
“I reiterate my admiration for this giant club. It’s a true honor and I’m truly grateful to everyone on the board of Sport Club Corinthians Paulista,” he stated.

The visit reinforces the strong relationship between the São Paulo City Hall and Corinthians, a sports institution that has contributed to the cultural and social development of the city for over a century.
