Valentina Cavalheiro

Child actress Valentina Cavalheiro , just 8 years old, is experiencing a special moment in her career as she celebrates her film debut in the comedy “Farofeiros 3,” a new Globo Filmes production directed by Roberto Santucci. The young artist plays a character full of personality, promising to entertain the audience and capture their attention with her spontaneity on screen.

Before reaching the big screen, Valentina made her mark on television as part of the cast of “Êta Mundo Melhor!”, a telenovela broadcast by TV Globo, where she played the character Clara in the first phase of the plot, set in the “Casa dos Anjos” orphanage. This brief appearance was enough to showcase her talent to a wider audience and open doors to new opportunities in the audiovisual industry.

Besides television and film, the actress has also stood out in theater, with her performance in the play “Salada de Fábulas,” written and directed by Mareliz Rodrigues. Now, with the release of “Farofeiros 3,” Valentina Cavalheiro consolidates another important step in her artistic career, emerging as one of the promising names of the new generation of child actresses.

Valentina, what was it like when you found out you were going to star in the movie “Farofeiros 3”? Do you remember your reaction when you received the news?

I love comedy and I was so happy to have auditioned. When I found out I got the part, I was overjoyed and thrilled because I’m a fan of the movie and I love the characters.

The film is a comedy and has some really funny scenes. What was the funniest part of filming for you—any behind-the-scenes stories that made you laugh a lot?

The funniest scene was the one where I danced with my character. I managed to get a lot of laughs from everyone who was in the studio.

Before acting in films, you had already done the soap opera “Êta Mundo Melhor!”. What was different between filming for TV and filming for cinema?

In the studio, I didn’t see the difference. The difference is that in the cinema, people will see me in the film on a big screen. On TV, people watch me at home, on television, and it’s possible that more people will see me at the same time!

You’re very young, but you already show a lot of love for what you do. What makes you happiest when you’re acting?

What makes me happiest is hearing compliments, that I’m a great actress and that people say I’m very cute.

Her mother said she was very emotional about this achievement. What’s it like having your family supporting and cheering you on in every project?

I really enjoy my mom’s company because she always comes with me to the recordings, and I love her so much.

In theater, you participated in the play “Salada de Fábulas” (Salad of Fables). What do you enjoy doing most: acting on stage, on TV, or in film? Or does everything have a special place in your heart?

I like everything, each experience is something new for me, and I really enjoy making the most of everything.

You still have many dreams ahead of you! What kind of character would you like to play in the future—perhaps a heroine, a princess, an adventurous girl…?

I would definitely like to create an adventurous girl.

Finally, what would you say to other children who also dream of being artists, but are just starting out?

I would tell these children to never give up on their dreams, because I believed in mine and I am achieving them.
