At age 11, actor Davi Luis Flores , from Porto Alegre (RS), is gaining recognition in Brazilian television drama. After debuting in advertising campaigns and being part of the cast of the commercial commemorating Globo’s 100th anniversary, the young talent is preparing to face a new challenge: acting in the telenovela “Três Graças,” the next 9 pm production on TV Globo, scheduled to premiere on October 20, 2025.
Represented by Five since March 2024, Davi was also selected for the third season of the series “Os Outros,” where he plays a character of indigenous origin—a role that required a complete transformation in his appearance and marks his debut in dramatic productions. With a rapidly rising career, the actor is emerging as one of the new promises of Brazilian television.
David, you started your career very young! Do you remember the moment you thought, “That’s it, I want to be an actor”?
So, my mother always said I had talent because I did everything in a different way. But when I watched the movie “Nosso Sonho” (Our Dream), by Claudinho and Buchecha, I decided! That’s when I thought: “This is what I want for my life.”
You’ve already done campaigns, commercials, and now you’re in a prime-time soap opera! How did you feel when they told you that you were going to be in Três Graças?
It was thrilling! I was so happy because when I got the news, I was inside Globo [TV network] getting ready to film “Os Outros” [The Others]. My mother and I didn’t even know what to do (laughs). It was even funny because we were crying and laughing at the same time!
But it was very rewarding, because I felt that the audition was perfect for me — the character suited me. I’m a little nervous because it’s my first soap opera, but I’m studying hard and dedicating myself to giving my best as Cristiano.
How did you celebrate?
I celebrated with my parents, eating my favorite snack: a McCheddar!

In The Others, you play a character of indigenous origin. How was it to prepare for this role, and what did you learn from it?
It was so much fun! I did special preparation for a difficult scene, and it was amazing. I had to change my hairstyle, and I realized that I can be and play so many different things.
You were born in Porto Alegre, but you now live in Rio de Janeiro. What do you miss most about your hometown, and what do you enjoy doing most in Rio?
I miss seeing my grandfather the most. But I prefer living here in Rio — I love the heat and the beach!
On the set, is there any actor or actress who became a friend or someone who inspires you a lot?
There are so many! I’m surrounded by great actors. I have an incredible connection with my cast and crew—everyone welcomed me warmly. We have so much fun on set!

You started in theater, right? What’s more fun: being on stage with a live audience, or filming for TV with different cameras and scenes?
I like both! The feeling is very different: in the theater, the audience’s reaction is immediate; on TV, you have to wait to see it later. I’m loving doing soap operas, but it gives me butterflies in my stomach to see the result on the screen.
When you’re not recording or rehearsing, what does Davi like to do in his free time? Video games, soccer, movies…?
I love going to the beach, playing video games, and making videos on my phone!
And to finish: if you could choose any character in the world to play — from a movie, series, or cartoon — who would you like to be?
That’s a tough question, because there are so many! The other day I dubbed a scene for Sonic, and since I love the movie Our Dream, I’d really love to play Juan Paiva—I’m a fan of his—and do the role of Bochecha!
