The Association of Retired and Employees of Banco do Brasil (AAFBB) introduced a new social space for its members last Monday (9): the AAFBB Bistro, located on the second floor of the Social Headquarters. The presentation took place alongside the meeting of the Deliberative Council, held in the afternoon and attended by council members, directors, and invited guests.
The space was officially presented during a moment of conviviality marked by a small cocktail reception, allowing attendees to experience the new environment and its welcoming concept.
During the ceremony, the President of the AAFBB Administrative Council, José Mauro Cordeiro, emphasized that the idea of creating the Bistro originated in the previous administration. The initiative was first proposed by the former President of the Administrative Council and current President of the Deliberative Council, Loreni de Senger. In his remarks, he highlighted the importance of institutional continuity and the recognition of valuable initiatives developed by previous leaderships.
According to José Mauro Cordeiro, successful institutional projects are the result of collective and ongoing efforts that go beyond individual mandates, becoming stronger when successive administrations remain committed to strengthening the association and expanding the benefits offered to its members.
The AAFBB Bistro was designed as a space for social interaction and relaxation, expanding opportunities for members and their guests to gather within the Social Headquarters. The goal is to provide a pleasant environment for conversations, informal meetings, and moments of leisure.
The official inauguration is scheduled for March 23, and the Bistro will operate Monday through Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The menu will feature coffee, desserts, appetizers, wines, and specialty drinks, accompanied by ambient music, creating a welcoming and refined experience.
With the creation of this new venue, AAFBB reaffirms its commitment to strengthening community ties, enhancing member interaction, and continuously investing in the quality of the institution’s infrastructure, honoring its tradition while developing new initiatives focused on the well-being of its community.
