At 13 years old, actress Oli Bela is experiencing a highlight in her career with her debut in the series “Juntas e Separadas” (Together and Separated), a Globoplay production created by Thalita Rebouças. In the series, which arrives on the platform on March 12th, she plays Maria de Fátima, daughter of the character played by Débora Lamm. With experience in television, musical theater, and film, the young artist is consolidating her name in the new generation of Brazilian audiovisual talent, combining solid artistic training, versatility in different languages, and a dedication that has already led her to participate in important TV and Globo productions.

You’re making your debut in the Globoplay series “Juntas e Separadas” (Together and Separated), playing Maria de Fátima, the daughter of Débora Lamm’s character. What was it like for you to enter the world of the series and build this mother-daughter relationship in the story?

It was very special to enter the world of “Together and Apart.” I was very excited because it’s a really cool project, and working with all those people was incredible. We built a very genuine family relationship, with affection, exchange, and a lot of naturalness in the scenes.

Despite being so young, you already have a very diverse career in TV, film, and theater. Which of these projects has been the most memorable for you so far, and why?

Each job marked me in a different way, but I think The Sound of Music was very special to me. It was a very intense experience in musical theatre, because in addition to acting I also had to sing and dance, and that made me grow a lot as an artist.

You started getting involved with art when you were only five years old. Do you remember the moment or experience that made you realize you wanted to pursue acting?

I started very young, around five years old, so I discovered many things little by little. But I remember when I went on stage for the first time, in a Catsapá play in 2019, I felt a great happiness, and that’s when I realized that acting was something I loved to do.

On stage, you played Brigitta Von Trapp in the musical The Sound of Music, a classic much loved by audiences. What was it like to experience this in musical theatre and sing in such a well-known show?

Playing Brigitta in The Sound of Music was incredible and very emotional. It’s a show that many people already know and love, so being there singing and telling that story was a very special experience for me. The timeless theme of the novice nun helped me grow as a person as well as as an artist.

Besides acting, you also study singing, voice acting, contemporary ballet, and even boxing. How do these different activities help in your preparation as an actress?

I think all these activities help a lot, because acting involves many things. Singing helps with the voice and emotion, dancing helps with the body and expression, and even boxing helps with discipline and concentration.

In Kings, you played Taphath, daughter of King Solomon. What did you learn most from participating in such a large historical production?

In Reis I learned a lot about how a large production works and also about the historical period of the story. It was a very interesting experience because everything was very detailed, from the costumes to the set design.

Even with your intense schedule of recordings and artistic studies, you also enjoy sports, nature, and moments of spirituality. What do you usually do to relax and maintain this balance?

I really enjoy spending time with my family and friends to relax. I also like being in nature, going to the gym, and having moments of spirituality, because that helps me keep my mind at peace. Swimming in the sea and waterfalls are essential in my quest for balance.

Looking to the future, what kinds of characters or stories do you dream of playing on television, in film, or in theater?

I still have many dreams as an actress. I would really like to play very different characters, who tell beautiful stories that touch people, and I would also love to do something related to spiritual or supernatural stories.
