In recent months, a personality has stood out in the digital world, emerging as one of the main influencers of OnlyFans: Kerolay Chaves. With a fervent fan base, she earned the top spot on the platform. However, her meteoric rise was boosted by a photo of her that went viral on social media.

Recently, Key Alves, participant of Big Brother Brasil 23, decided to offer a workshop to share his experiences and teach others how to be successful in OnlyFans. His proposal was to help those interested in exploring this adult content platform, providing tips and guidance on how to create an attractive profile and monetize it effectively.

However, Kerolay Chaves openly expressed her contrary opinion regarding Key Alves’ workshop. She argued that the content offered by him was superficial and that he was exploiting other people’s desire to get quick money on OnlyFans. Kerolay claimed that achieving a successful profile on the platform required more than simply following some basic tips and that Key was selling an illusion.

Kerolay, you’ve become one of OnlyFans’ biggest influencers and have built up a passionate fan base. How has this journey been for you?

I am very happy and grateful to be where I am with only 2 years in the business. It’s good to remember that it was 2 years of hard work, strategies, courses, research and so on. But like everything in life, it has its good and bad sides. In this field, for example, the financial side is a very positive point and the empowerment in general that Onlyfans models acquire with experience, praise, financial independence and such. One of the tricky sides is being able to be constant on all social networks, even if you are mentally good or bad, and there are still haters with hate speech, envy, prejudice in establishments and neighbors, for example. Another complicated thing is paying attention to all subscribers and followers, understanding what they most like to see, when, how and always be aware of each platform’s algorithm changes and viral trends. Another point would be sales conversion strategies that even become obsolete and need to be created. But anyway, it’s a lot of details.

His meteoric rise on OnlyFans came after a photo of him at the market went viral on social media. How do you deal with the repercussions of that moment and how did it impact your career?

At the time, I confess that I was a little shaken. As I commented on Danilo Gentili’s show (The Noite), I’m already used to stares wherever I go, most of which are positive, but some are a little pejorative, but that time in the market was the first time I experienced absurd discomfort with stares , loud pejorative comments for me to hear anyway, it was all very heavy and I was just shopping you know, like anyone does. It generated a great deal of indignation. But I was able to see the good side of it all, the situation was reported to the media and I believe that little by little these people’s minds are changing, you know, improving, thinking better about it and seeing that I’m just a normal person who likes short clothes, nothing else lol . Even because I wasn’t naked and I’ve seen countless times people with less flashy bodies than mine and nobody spoke or showed any negative reaction about it. Another good side was the visibility I got as well. Many came to follow me to find out who Kerolay Chaves really is and I found people who liked my work, my lifestyle and who follow and support me to this day. In the lives that I do, I talk to several who have changed their way of thinking and today admire me.

Key Alves, participant of Big Brother Brasil 23, opened a workshop to teach other people how to earn money on OnlyFans. What is your opinion about this workshop and why did you express a position against it?

I confess that I am against any person or company that tries to make money from this type of teaching without really having the general experience of what this world is like. I talk about strategies, marketing, constancy, studying algorithm, but I appreciate even more for explaining the negative side of this work to the new women who are interested. Looking from the outside “just take a picture and get rich”, but it’s far from being like that, not least because there are models that don’t earn 5,000 a month and the kind of “eternal” exposure on the net has already been done. It’s a VERY psychologically heavy branch due to the person’s intimate exposure, the obligation of constancy even being in a bad mood on the day and anyway, this part I’ve never seen anyone explaining before selling a course or some workshop. I think it’s absurd to teach this type of branch without explaining the regrets, you know,

You claimed that the content offered by Key Alves was superficial and that it was selling an illusion. Could you tell us more about that and what are the key elements to being successful at OnlyFans, in your opinion?

I followed and admired Key Alves, but as I detailed a bit in the previous question, I think it was a little wrong for her to launch this workshop. Unfortunately, capitalism is acting again without thinking about the consequences for people who will believe in that “easy dream” that it is selling. It’s not just joining Onlyfans, posting a picture without clothes on and earning money. You have to have an audience created, awaken the desire in your followers to want to get to know you better, to the point of paying a monthly fee for it. You have to understand how each social network works and follow its rules to not be banned and to deliver your content properly. I could cite here a huge list of what and how it should be done, but it would become a course lol. But I will mention the top 5 in my opinion: 1 – Daily constancy in the networks you chose to work with. 2- Understand through comments, surveys and polls what your audience is most interested in 3- Be yourself because if you create a character, in addition to losing authenticity, it will be almost impossible to maintain it regularly in a natural way and that engages your audience enough to go from a follower to your true fan. 4- Study and understand what the contents of each platform are like. A dance video made for TikTok, for example, is unlikely to go viral on Twitter. 5 – Also understand that no one grows, expands a company or reaches success alone. Yes! Accept that you have to hire people, partnerships, networking. And work with commission on your team, after all we are dealing with sales, and a salesperson without a commission becomes an attendant.

What are the main challenges you faced while building your career at OnlyFans and how did you overcome them?

I think the main initial challenge was exposure. So much so that at first, I decided not to put my real name on anything. I used for a few months the name White Fairy (White Fairy) which was suggested by a friend. This challenge, no matter how hard I tried to filter for those who sold it, it never works out and in my case my whole family found out about everything in the second month and in the way that most of the other girls’ families also find out that it is from a neighbor, acquaintance or relative. Those who find out find it so immoral, and so absurd that they feel the need to spread the news as much as possible. It’s that issue, bad news people love. The donations I’ve always made, no one finds out and spreads it out, right? Another challenge was understanding that constancy is very important. There are days when I don’t even want to pick up my cell phone,

You mentioned the importance of being dedicated to the fans and knowing what they want in order to be successful on OnlyFans. How do you interact with your fans and how does that contribute to your growth on the platform?

At Onlyfans and Privacy, I also try my best to know what they want because I know that everyone has their desires and fetishes and I know that as I make them and post them, other desires are created. That’s why I chat with them on the platform, I reply to comments on posts to get a feel for it. I have a big butt for example and they love it. But there are times when people are crazy about videos with my feet, for example, or everyday things like cooking, cleaning the house and so on. Their desires are very volatile and I try to please everyone there lol.

Besides OnlyFans, do you also use other social networks to connect with your audience? How do you balance your presence across different platforms?

As platforms for my content, I use Onlyfans and Privacy, both with monthly payments and separate content as well. On social networks that are even free, I use it to create a connection with them. Show a little of what I like, my hobbies, say good morning, ask how they are doing, ask for opinions on something like the car I’m going to buy next week, in short, from there they decide how much connection we have, how much things in common and whether it’s worth paying to get to know me better.

Being an OnlyFans influencer involves exposure and dealing with public opinion. How do you handle negative reviews and comments?

At the beginning it was a little difficult, even though since I was a little girl I never cared much about the opinion of others, I still felt a little uncomfortable with negative comments about my body or my decision to expose myself. But I do therapy and it helps me to keep going no matter what. I know several girls who started, suffered exposure and couldn’t continue because it was really heavy.

OnlyFans has been the subject of debates and controversies related to the exploitation and objectification of people. How do you see this issue and how do you position yourself to ensure a positive and respectful experience for your fans?

Wow, I honestly can’t see Onlyfans that way. I think it’s actually beautiful what we can do through it. I can meet people, ask for their opinion on personal doubts, help them not only with the pleasure issue, but also giving tips for the current relationship or problem, in short, it’s an exchange of experiences, you know, both win. I also learn a lot from the subscribers, in the lives, in the chat, and this connection of people from all over the world and still paying to see me, to know me, generates a nice feeling too.

What are your future plans and goals as an OnlyFans influencer? What can your fans expect from you in the coming months?

I have several ideas for improvements to my platforms in general, both paid and free. After my Playboy cover issue came out in July and got my dreamed passport, I’m already going to start putting these plans into practice and one of them is my dream of traveling the whole world, getting to know different cultures and experiences and along with that, recording with people from other countries, thus bringing trends and maybe even different fetishes lol. Another plan also that subscribers will love is that I will start posting straight content. They’ve dreamed about it since I started. In addition to being a different exhibition, I also don’t like combined content, I like to record my life, what is really happening at that moment. Get more amateur but it is also one of the great differentials when explaining this giant connection that I have with my subscribers and followers. And this amateur too they love. I think they feel more truth in the content and it goes into what someone I admire a lot and learn a lot from always says: “People buy from people” (PAULO CUENCA).
