Gerais, the artist is preparing to expand her career with the release of “Colocadinha Different”, her debut in the music market with an authorial song.

With a lot of piseiro and swing, the music was composed and produced by Luciano Chaves and Mão Grande, two professionals known for working with Ivete Sangalo, Léo Santana, Psirico and among other artists.

The release of the song “Colocadinha Different” is right on the play of the 2023 Carnival as a proposal to energize revelers in the next days of festivity. Talking about fervent encounters capable of “bugging” the mind with so much goodness, the track has a bubblegum power and great chances of being the most recent hit. Check out the interview!

Larissa, even before starting your career professionally, you discovered your musical gift as a child, at the age of 11. Do you remember how music came into your life?

My connection with music really started when I was little, my mother told me that she always caught me humming in the corners. My first opportunity to perform was at the age of 11, my aunt’s church needed someone to sing and she referred me to those in charge. I spent hours rehearsing “Faz Um Milagre em Mim” on playback.

As soon as you were 18, we started to see you on the stages of bars and big events in different places, such as Governador Valadares and other regions of Minas Gerais. How was the first time you went on stage?

Before completing my 18 years of age, I even performed at some events, but since I wasn’t over the age of majority, I ended up giving up due to the obstacles. However, after years, the first time I went up on stage as Larissa de Paula, it was at a city hall party. Always remembering that day, emotions live inside me until today, I remember that I got sick before starting the presentation. Anxiety was taking over me.

This year you are taking a big step in your trajectory, which is the launch of your first authorial project, the song “Colocadinha Especiais”, how has the feedback been and could you tell us a little more about the production?

I’ve been planning to start introducing my own songs into my repertoire for months now, I just needed to release them. However, “Colocadinha Especiais” was planned in a short time and, incredible as it may seem, everything is working out exactly as I imagined.

The crowd has been positively receiving the music, especially in my performances throughout the 2023 Carnival. I received many messages praising the show and emphasizing the music, especially the dance that I still haven’t released on social networks, but I already released spoilers on stage . “Colocadinha Different” was the ideal song for my authorial debut in the music market.

Exploring the piseiro and swing styles, the song was composed and produced by Luciano Chaves and Mão Grande, who have already worked with other big names. What was it like to be able to work alongside them on music?

Working with Luciano Chaves and Mão Grande, two top professionals that I admire a lot, has been an incredible opportunity. They managed to capture the essence of the song and the combination of all the knowledge of the people involved in this track contributed to the feedback we are receiving from listeners. For sure, this is the first of many songs that I will work with them.

The release of his music is coming right at the time of carnival with the proposal to bring energy to revelers. Has this period been favorable for betting on the music scene?

Because it is a piseiro with swing, the song “Colocadinha Different” ended up marrying very well with the atmosphere of Carnival. In addition to the beat, the lyrics also talk a lot about the energy shared in blocks, especially in the part that talks about having the attitude to live intense and fervent moments that are capable of bugging our mind, if you know what I mean (laughs).

In this new song, you’ve been betting on a very striking lyrics with a bubblegum power. In your opinion, what can’t be missing in a song for it to be successful?

We are coming from a wave of writing with impactful phrases, there are many lyrics that take everyday phrases and apply them to songs. I think this element is amazing to create a catchy song, but nothing works if you don’t connect with the audience in a real way. In short, it’s a combo of phrases, melodies, interpretations and connections that connect with the listeners’ reality.

In a post made on your social networks, you revealed that the lyrics of this song are inspired by real situations that many women go through in their daily lives. As a female artist, do you believe that your music has great potential to represent everything you go through?

Of course i believe! The song is inspired by real situations of many couples, my main focus with these lyrics is talking to women with attitude and who call the man to his own game, without fear of regret and as the lyrics say “don’t give up because today I’m ahead”. “Colocadinha Different” can be interpreted.

This release was announced as the first track of a major project that will be announced in the coming months. Does this year 2023 still promise much for Larissa?

And as promised! Yes, this year I have a very hot project that will be very important for my artistic career. In advance, I can tell you that new songs will be released until April this year. In the best way possible, it’s about that moment that bugs our mind.
