How did the idea of expanding your fashion creations abroad come about, opening your first store in Portugal? What were the main motivations behind this decision?
I saw an opportunity for visibility for my business, as it would be the first Brazilian brand to open a store on one of the most famous avenues in the world and the most important in Portugal.
You mentioned that fashion is an empowering tool for women. How do you seek to convey this message through your creations?
When we feel confident, we gain the power to achieve our goals. And clothes have that power. I just make them believe in you.
Her fashion journey started intuitively, while playing with her mother’s fabrics. How was this transition from playing with fabrics to becoming a successful stylist?
It was a natural process. I’ve always been involved in that universe. Even without understanding the importance it would have in my life.
Throughout your career, you created friendships with several famous personalities, such as Giovanna Ewbank and Giovanna Lancellotti. How did these friendships influence your trajectory in fashion and projects aimed at female empowerment?
We’re talking about amazing women, they don’t just influence me. And yes to many women.
You were recently invited by Givenchy to share about the partnership between Givenchy x Galeries Lafayette. How was this experience and what are the news you are bringing to the world of fashion?
I feel flattered! Having first-hand access to pieces that were not yet available to the general public at Givenchy’s invitation couldn’t make me any happier.
You opened your first store in Lisbon, Portugal, instead of launching your brand in Brazil. How was the reception of Brazilian fashion in Portugal? And how do you see Brazilian fashion on the international scene?
Brazil is a powerhouse! We need to look a little deeper inside to understand how creative we are.
The 30th birthday party of friend Giovanna Lancellotti drew a lot of attention from the press and her friends due to her Rapunzel costume. How did the idea for this characterization come about and what was the message you wanted to convey with this look?
The first thought was to reinvent Rapunzel’s familiar aesthetic, then the desire to create an outfit using an unconventional material.
In addition to your success as an influencer, model and stylist, you are also active in the fashion world in Madrid, Paris, Miami and Spain. How did that experience influence your unique concept of creating clothes?
I travel a lot and I try to extract the behavior of different women, different cultures.
You mentioned the importance of sending a message through the clothes we wear. What are the main values and ideals that you seek to transmit through your creations?
Be you, always!
What are the next projects and plans for the future of your fashion brand? Can we expect new partnerships and collaborations with other personalities?
I have some projects on the table, but nothing that I can advance yet.
