The trajectory of a public figure is not always a linear path. For Babi Muniz , who gained prominence as a panicat in “Pânico na Band”, the journey was full of challenges and changes. From her time on the show to the present day, she has faced major obstacles, including the difficult task of balancing motherhood with a career in the media. In an exclusive interview, Babi shares her experiences, challenges and future plans, revealing how she managed to overcome each obstacle with determination and perseverance.
What was your journey like from your participation as a panicat in Pânico na Band to the present day?
I’ve always worked as a model, even before being Panicat. After I left in 2017, I signed with Record and then left there too, but I always continued working as a model and influencer.
What were the biggest challenges you faced throughout your television career and how did you overcome them?
I had several challenges, but the biggest challenge, without a doubt, is balancing motherhood and work. Pedro is very young, so I end up leaving a lot of work and dreams up to my son, because I know he needs me. But I’m happy this way, much happier with him.
In addition to your participation in Pânico na Band, did you have experience in other areas of media? What was that transition like?
Yes, I’m a singer, DJ and actress. We test things that we like and identify with. In almost all of them, I do very well. When I start a project, I dedicate myself 100%, study hard and train until I get good. I’m very stubborn, so if I agree to do something, it’s for real.
You mentioned having had advertising partnerships with several brands. Can you tell us a little more about these collaborations and how they contributed to your career?
Yes, I launched perfumes with big brands, CS, Bio Ritmo! Some I go after and invite them, others come after them and invite me. When you work with a big brand, other big brands are watching. This is very good, because it adds a lot of value. All the work I do, from smaller to larger brands, is all designed exclusively for each one, it is done with my heart. I love.
What was your experience like participating in the Miss Bumbum contest in 2011 and how did it influence your career later?
It was a very special invitation and I was very young, with a very simple life. I didn’t win, but it was worth the experience. I met cool people and it was a very talked about competition, so it was good for me.
During the years you were in Pânico na Band, what were the most memorable moments for you and why?
Without a doubt, when I became a real Panicat and when they made the first prank that ended up turning me into the crying Panic.
As a digital influencer, how do you deal with exposure in the media, especially in situations involving harassment? Do you believe that the media leaves space for celebrities to breathe?
I believe that women still suffer a lot of harassment, there are still many men who don’t know the limits, and when that happens, I stop immediately, I don’t know how to react or respond. There were situations where I felt bad, but I try to ignore it when that happens. The media nowadays is giving more space to listen to celebrities, and that’s a very good thing.
What are your future plans and projects in television and modeling?
I can only say that big things are going to happen this year, secret.
You have had roles in music with some releases. How was your experience in this area and do you intend to invest more in this field?
The experience was wonderful, I dedicated myself a lot, I sang with Koringa, Loma, Nando DK… I had good singing and piano teachers. But I don’t intend to sing again.
How do you balance your personal life with your media career, considering the exposure and demands of the job?
Of course everything I do will have some impact. I try not to show my entire personal life (at least not everything). I believe that everything has a limit, so I separate the extent to which I want to share with the media. This includes motherhood.
