How did the idea for the “Entre Mundos” project come about and what motivated you to publish new publications by disembodied spirits?
When I took over as spiritual leader of the sacred space Terreiro de Umbanda Recanto de São Jorge, I received the invitation from the spiritual brothers for an authorial partnership and to develop the innovative project called “Entre Mundos”, promoting unpublished works by Spiritual Authors. We call the project “Between Worlds”, as the aim is to share the incarnational experiences of the authors and third parties, expanding the bonds of affinity between the incarnated and disincarnated through Umbanda.
What motivated me to accept the challenge was the possibility of realizing the ‘turning on the lights of consciousness’. I know that results are individual and depend on many factors, as everything that involves inner transformation requires acceptance, effort and action.
Can you tell us more about the psychography process and how you came into contact with the spirit of Paulo Tobias to psychograph the book “Ordeals in Two Lives”?
I believe that the process of psychography for each psychographic medium occurs in a unique way. My process began in 2016 with spiritual mentor Marcos Alcântara. This brother is responsible on the spiritual plane for countless points in the development of writing throughout the Universe. After preparing me for writing, he dictated my first psychographed work, “Romance à Cegas”, published in 2022.
As for the first contact with spiritual brother Paulo Tobias, even before finishing the book “Romance à Cegas”, he manifested himself as the author of the second work to be psychographed. He only told me the provisional title and that he was waiting for the moment to start writing. The presence of the spiritual author of the following work is recurrent when I am finalizing a psychography.
The plot of “Trials in Two Lives” addresses deep themes such as incarnations, forgiveness and love. How do you see the importance of these themes in people’s spiritual and daily lives?
Every reincarnation process has its fundamentals to be fulfilled. The spiritual brothers who monitor our trials aim to help without intervening in the process. Therefore, it is necessary to understand that, with each opportunity given in an incarnation, it will reverberate in the blessings achieved. With resignation in planting the fruits that we will reap over time, be they pain and/or joy accepted with love and forgiveness. I highlight that the opportunity to experience a new incarnation in a sublime way is to repair the failures of the past.
The book’s protagonist, Paulo Tobias, faces a journey of self-knowledge after going through a coma. In your opinion, how important is self-knowledge in spiritual evolution?
I consider the book “Trials in Two Lives” to be a powerful tool for help and transformation. Brother Paulo Tobias brings valuable and inspiring teachings to everyone seeking greater spiritual understanding. With accessible and captivating language, each page takes us on a journey of self-knowledge and evolution.
I emphasize the importance of self-knowledge as an individual journey, the need for acceptance, effort and consistent action. Furthermore, personal evolution through acceptance of the changes and wisdom that exists in each person reflects on imperfection and submission to imposed details. I invite the reader to reflect on their own incarnation and how they are currently leading their lives.
You mentioned that your journey with mediumship began after an accident left you in a coma. How did this experience influence your decision to dedicate yourself to spiritual development and start the “Entre Mundos” project?
My mediumistic journey began in childhood. As I have been developing mediumship since I was 6 years old, the spirits were already manifesting themselves. With 8, it was necessary to temporarily close my mediumship. In adolescence, incorporations became commonplace, without the need for development in a Terreiro. At 18, I started working as a cambone at a Spiritist Center that my parents attended in Goiânia.
Following the course of life, at the age of 23, a motorcycle accident led me to a coma and soon after, after recovering from the accident, I got married and left mediumistic work, starting to attend the house of prayer sporadically.
After a 15-year marriage, still without dedicating myself to spirituality, the hardships of life brought me widowhood, and I soon began dedicating my time to spirituality more assiduously. Finally, experiencing my second marriage, in 2017, I found my path when I was guided by spiritual mentors and took over Recanto de São Jorge as Terreiro Father.
What is it like to reconcile your career as a terreiro father and medium with your previous life as a financial analyst?
More than 7 years ago, I was guided by spirituality to live at the farm to facilitate face-to-face service and writing. That’s why I left the financial analyst profession. Currently, I dedicate my time to Terreiro and Psychography.
In addition to the activities mentioned above, we do live on YouTube every fortnight, a partnership with the @gutoconversa Channel. This is a live service, where I incorporate and the spiritual guides answer the participants’ questions.
In addition to “Trials in two lives”, you also published the books “Romance à Cegas” and others. What are your future plans for the “Entre Mundos” project and your next publications?
I have 5 psychographed works and I’m working on them on Friday. “Blind Romance” and “Ordeals in Two Lives” have already been published. As for the third, it will be published later this year. The works are published according to the financial condition, since the Terreiro does not generate income, as the mediumistic services provided are free. I would like to point out that we have future plans to publish two books a year, however, the proceeds from the sale of the books will provide the progress of the publications.
As they are independent publications, we created a virtual publisher, Arco e Flecha Editora, with the aim of facilitating readers’ access to books via the website www.alankardecmarques.com.br . Furthermore, the books are on the Amazon and Clube de Autores platforms.
What message or teaching do you hope to convey to readers through the psychographed works and the “Entre Mundos” project?
Alan Kardec Marques: As I am guided by spiritual authors committed to the “Entre Mundos” project, sharing messages of love, wisdom and hope, I believe that I am collaborating with the Universe. The “Between Worlds” project aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge between the different planes of existence. Spiritual authors have a lot to share, and I am here to be the link between the spiritual world and the material world.
So, I hope an infinite number of readers join us on this journey of discovery, delving into the pages of our books and allowing themselves to be touched by the magic of words. The project is ready to guide everyone between worlds and reveal the secrets hidden between the lines of existence.
