Caíque, you started your artistic career at a very young age, working as a model and actor at the age of 14. What was this transition to music like and what motivated you to follow this path?

It was really crazy how everything happened in relation to music…My father had a country duo in the 80s/90s with my uncle, he even met my mother in one of the bars they were playing in, I grew up around “music reviews” as a family. , but that had never been “my dream”, one day a businessman saw a video of me singing and asked me to join a boy band , it was like that lol…

For eight years (2012 to 2020), you were part of the boy band FLY, achieving great success and winning several awards. What was this experience like and what did you learn most during this period?

Without a doubt, Fly was my musical pre- school, it was where I had direct contact with music being something “professional ”, our managers and producers at the time were very serious about the job, this without a doubt shaped me as an Artist and today as a producer/manager from other artists…I also see the importance of having experienced as a “team” the importance that each member/involved in the project has!

In 2020, you started your solo career. What has this transition journey been like for you, and what can we expect from your solo work compared to what you’ve done with FLY?

I started working producing other artists in 2017/18, this gave me financial security so I wouldn’t have to depend on “exploding” to pay my bills lol… In the midst of a generation driven by pumping music on apps, it was my best choice, it made it possible to do my art without “commercial” stereotypes and models.

In addition to singing, you are also a composer and performer. What are your main musical influences and how would you describe your personal style?

I’m very eclectic, this always helps a lot in my creative process… I’ve always liked songs that tell stories, as a composer I believe that good music is the combination of poetry with melodies that speak to the lyrics “feelings” etc … my style is Pop , melodically there’s a lot of reggae, pagode, r&b …in terms of lyrics, I’ve always liked talking about love, LOVE never dies!

You are also the founder of AmaRecords , your own music production company. What was it like creating your own company and what is the vision behind AmaRecords ?

The main reason I created my record label/production company was because I had so many bad experiences with others…daily in the studio Artists complaining about N reasons (which I know well how they work), “ AmaRec ” has no intention of taking away from the Artist which is HIS, our goal is to put music on the streets by people who know the power that music has, it was never about numbers, it’s about souls being edified.

Throughout your solo career, you’ve had the opportunity to produce songs for other artists. What is this collaboration process like and how do you choose the projects you want to work on?

I simply have to like the person, I had some opportunities to work with well-known people and they were the worst experiences lol, a lot of vanity, a lot of ego and little music.

You mentioned that you scored soap opera soundtracks with FLY. What is it like to see your music being used to complement stories on television and how important is this type of exposure for an artist?

It’s very gratifying to see music being part of soap opera soundtracks, it’s a great showcase without a doubt.

In addition to music, you also have a strong presence on social media. How do you use social media to connect with your fans and promote your work?

In fact, recently I’ve been moving away a bit, I just became a dad, I just go in and promote my work and leave, the internet is a toxic environment, if we’re not careful we end up absorbing a lot of things and bringing them into our lives…

What are your plans and goals for the future of your music career? Are there any particular projects you’re looking forward to in the coming years?

1 year ago I converted to Christianity, since then I have focused solely on that, working with many “gospel” artists, the idea is to break this barrier that exists in relation to religiosity, I believe that LOVE is the greatest teaching that He left us, I I’ve been doing it forever so there’s too much fluid…

How do you deal with the challenges and pressures of the music industry, especially considering the constant evolution of the music market?

The secret is not to freak out, we as Artists are constantly adapting and evolving, I believe that this generation is so superficial that anything that is “authentic” stands out…that’s how I’ve done it, that’s how I will do it…lol
