Brielle, you started acting at the age of 8. Can you tell us about your first job and what it was like to act in a USC commercial with no prior experience?
Working with USC was quite an experience. I had no acting experience, but I was excited to try something new. I was nervous not knowing what the outcome would be. Thankfully the crew was very supportive and encouraging I ended up enjoying the process. It was fascinating to see how commercials are made and to be part of that creative process.
You mentioned that your mother has been a great supporter throughout your career. How did family support influence your success in acting and on social media?
Family support has been instrumental in my journey both as an actor and on social media. Their unwavering belief in my abilities and constant encouragement have been invaluable. From attending my auditions to assisting with content creation and management on social media platforms, their support has provided a strong foundation for my success in both areas. Their involvement has not only bolstered my confidence but also helped me navigate the challenges that come with pursuing these passions.
You’ve worked in commercials with celebrities like Andrew Cohen and collaborated with brands like Fashion Nova and Yellow Brick Road. What was this experience like for you as a young actress?
Working with Andrew Cohen was a fun experience. It was my first time working with a celebrity. He was really nice and welcoming. At the end of the filming he walked up to me and shook my hand and said, “Great Job”. It was a great experience. Working with brands like Fashion Nova and Yellow Brick Road have been amazing. I never imagined I would be representing these prestige companies. It truly has been an honor for me, I feel blessed in every way possible and hope to continue working with them.
You are taking acting classes and regularly attending auditions. How do you stay motivated and focused with all the activities in your schedule?
Finding a balance between school, homework, acting classes , and auditions requires a lot of planning and prioritization. I make sure to create a schedule that allocates time for each activity. This involves setting aside dedicated study hours after school, attending acting classes on specific days, and planning auditions around school and other commitments. Additionally, we encourage open communication with teachers and instructors to ensure everyone is aware of my commitments and can offer support if needed.
What are some of the biggest lessons you’ve learned throughout your career so far? And what would be your advice for other kids who want to enter the acting world?
Some of the biggest lessons I’ve learned throughout my career are the importance of perseverance, being adaptable, and always staying true to myself. For kids who want to enter the acting world, I’d advice them to work hard, never stop learning, and always be willing to take risks and try new things. It’s also crucial to maintain a strong support system and to never give up on their dreams, even when facing challenges or setbacks.
You’ve talked about how you maintain a positive outlook and balance your busy schedule. What are some things you do to stay calm and energized to face daily challenges?
To stay calm and energized for my daily challenges, I love starting my day by eating a nutritious meal and drink plenty of water to keep my energy up throughout the day. When I need a break, I like to listen to my favorite music or spend time with friends to recharge. It’s all about finding balance and what works best for me and making sure to take care of myself both physically and mentally.
