From his roots in nursing to becoming a reference in nutrition and aesthetics, Dr. Fabrício Brito has built a career dedicated to comprehensive patient care. Graduated from the Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro, he began his journey in the Family Health Program, where he developed a humanized and integrative vision, essential for his current approach. Specialized in prevention and longevity, Brito stands out not only for its advanced practices, but also for its commitment to quality of life and aging management.

His search for knowledge took him to international events such as the Dermatology Meeting in Miami, directly influencing his practice at the clinic he leads in São Paulo. Recognized for its use of cutting-edge technology, the clinic offers treatments such as Electromagnetic Onyx and cryolipolysis, which combine effectiveness and speed for superior results for patients.

Integrating nutrition and aesthetics, Dr. Fabrício Brito promotes a holistic approach, focused on prevention and general well-being. His guidelines, which range from healthy eating habits to regular physical activity, reflect a commitment to public health and an optimistic vision for the future of preventive medicine in Brazil.

You began your career in nursing before graduating in medicine and specializing in nutrition. How has this early trajectory influenced your current approach to patient care?

I started my career as a nurse at the Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro (UFTM) in Uberaba, MG. I started my work at the Family Health Program (PSF) in Pirapora, MG. The nurse has a very humanized vision, he is able to better access the patient, being closer to him. Furthermore, the integrative and preventive vision of nurses is something that I consider spectacular.

What was the decisive point that led you to specialize in nutrition and aesthetics, especially with a focus on prevention and longevity?

Prevention, quality of life, longevity and aging management have always caught my attention. In short: aging without loss of function! And all of this, associated with aesthetics from the inside out, as we say, fits very well with what I advocate in the lives of all patients.

You mentioned participating in the Dermatology Meeting in Miami. How has this international experience impacted your practice in the area of aesthetics?

I have always sought constant updating throughout my life. I went to 10 conferences in one month in São Paulo last year, for example. There are also international events that are the cradle for the creation of new things that will arrive in Brazil. I try to stay up to date with these dermatology, regenerative medicine, nutrition and sports medicine events.

The clinic you lead is known for its use of cutting-edge technology. Could you share some of the advanced treatments available and how they benefit your patients?

Nowadays, there’s no way to live medicine without technology, right? Without a doubt, this adds a lot to the best results for our patients. In São Paulo, there is a great demand from patients for faster results and the search for more modern treatments. The information arrives very quickly here!

There are technologies for muscle gain, such as Electromagnetic Onyx, which enhances up to 36 thousand contractions in 30 minutes. There is also cryolipolysis, which improves localized fat in one session, and other procedures such as the Herus HIFU 4D microfocused ultrasound, the modern Elyon Endolaser, which destroys localized fat and stimulates collagen in the same session, in addition to state-of-the-art lasers, such as the Hakon, a Premium 4D, considered one of the best in the world.

How do you combine nutrition and aesthetics in your treatment approach? What are the benefits of this integration for the health and well-being of patients?

In my lectures, I strongly advocate treatments for managing aging, covering everything from injectables and treatments for issues such as dysbiosis, circadian rhythm, stress, post-COVID recovery, to hormone replacement and advanced technologies. Without a doubt, it is a 360° approach, exploring all available scientific and medical paths to prevent aging. It is not just about intervening when patient complaints arise, such as sagging, wrinkles, loss of muscles and bones, but also about acting preventively to ensure a better quality of life in the long term.

What is the role of prevention in your daily practice? What are the main pieces of advice you give to patients interested in improving their health preventatively?

Today, without a doubt, we are paying much more attention to Preventive Medicine, despite living in a time with the highest rates of overweight, obesity, cancer and cardiovascular problems! There is still a lot to be done.

The advice I always give my patients is:

  • Food is the basis.
  • Physical activity is a necessity.
  • Stress control.
  • Give up toxic habits (alcohol, cigarettes, etc.).
  • Medical follow-up with a professional who has this preventive and integrative vision.

How do you evaluate the impact of nutrology not only on the physical health, but also on the general well-being of your patients?

Nutrology is a very important area of medicine that should be taken more seriously. We need to have access to this professional as soon as possible: in childhood, during pregnancy, and in adult life. All these stages of life, when monitored by a doctor in this area, would certainly provide very different care and an extremely positive impact on the lives of the population.

How have you and your team adapted services during the pandemic to ensure continuity of care and patient safety?

At the time of the pandemic, there was a watershed moment with the emergence of telemedicine, which allowed us, professionals, to reach patients from any part of Brazil remotely. It was a significant advance in the country’s medicine.

What are the main challenges you face as a healthcare professional in the field of nutrition and aesthetics, and how do you overcome them?

There is still a lot of misinformation, a huge cultural impact on health and a lack of access to quality medicine for the population. How can we demand healthy eating if a large part of our population does not even have access to education, and many still lack basic sanitation? It is revolting! But we are changing! I’m optimistic and I believe it will improve, but this has to be shared by all of us to spread this information.

What are your plans and goals for the future of your clinic and professional practice? Are there any new projects or developments you would like to share with us?

I want to develop a technological academy within the clinic to offer opportunities to several patients who do not yet practice physical activity (studies show that more than half of the Brazilian population does not practice any physical activity). Furthermore, I intend to create branches in more regions of Brazil. And, without a doubt, I am still waiting for a response to a proposal I made to authorities in São Paulo to make nutrology available to communities that do not have access.
