Juliana Nalú, top model, influencer and founder of the social project Favela Seeds Movement, is an example of overcoming challenges and dedication. The Brazilian has established a solid career as an international top model and is also a sensation on social media. Originally from Complexo do Chapadão, in Rio de Janeiro, she has built a successful career on international catwalks, participating in several campaigns for renowned brands. She was recently chosen to star in the campaign for designer Emilio Pucci to launch his EP collection.
Her journey began at the age of 14, when, upon realizing the difficult reality of her family, she decided that the only way to change her story would be through hard work and dedication. Her determination led her to a remarkable victory at the age of 18, when she won a scholarship after winning a competition promoted by L’Oréal, which propelled her to Los Angeles, where her career took off.
In addition to her career in fashion, Juliana has stood out in social activism, creating the Favela Seeds project. A social project that offers great educational and cultural opportunities to young people from underprivileged communities in Rio de Janeiro. “When I started, I knew I wasn’t the only one with talent. I was just the girl who had a chance. Now, I want to give that opportunity to other young people like me,” says Nalú.
The model believes that art, culture and education are fundamental to opening doors and inspiring dreams. “I believe that, through access to these tools, any young person can believe that the impossible is possible,” she says, who with her digital platform, seeks to motivate and empower young talents. Her work is a reflection of her vision: to transform the future of young talents, just as she transformed her own. Always passing through Brazil, the beauty, in partnership with the agency that manages her career, Mix Models Agency, is planning new actions for 2025, stay tuned.
