At just 8 years old, child actress Bella Roberth has already achieved a prominent place in Brazilian television and cinema. Currently filming the next 7pm soap opera on Globo, Dona de Mim, where she plays Aurora, Sofia’s friend, Bella is also preparing to join the cast of the highly anticipated Farofeiros 3, a sequel to one of the most successful franchises in Brazilian cinema. After standing out in Os Farofeiros 2 and the series Reis on Record, the young artist confirms her precocious talent and consolidates herself as one of the great bets of the new generation.
Since you were very young, you have been involved in major Brazilian TV and film productions. How is it for you, at just 8 years old, to balance your filming routine with your studies and life as a child?
I am very dedicated at school, I am focused and attentive in class, which helps me get good grades and makes it easier when I am recording. School will always be my priority. I also love to play and I am always with my friends in the condominium. I always find time to have fun and enjoy my childhood.
In the new 7pm soap opera, “Dona de Mim”, you play Aurora, a character who is part of the main cast. What was the process of creating this character like and what do you like most about her?
From the texts I read, I realized that Aurora would be Sofia’s bad friend, with bad attitudes, like bullying. So, I thought about this context to interpret the character. What I liked most about Aurora was the way she dressed.
You will also be in “Farofeiros 3”, one of the most beloved franchises in Brazilian cinema. What was it like to receive the invitation to return to this universe after playing Tininha in “Os Farofeiros 2”?
I loved making Os Farofeiros 2, the production and the cast were wonderful! I was always looking forward to when Farofeiros 3 would come out, and when I got the news, I screamed and cried with happiness, because I really wanted to live it all again.

In addition to soap operas and films, you have also been on stage in the play “Sótão Secreto”. What do you feel is different when you are in the theater compared to being in front of TV or film cameras?
In theater, there is no re-recording, everything is live. Either you know the text or you have to improvise, relying on the help of the cast. On TV and in the movies, we can record several times, adjust the text, the reactions… it ends up being “easier” compared to theater.
Participating in the series “Reis”, on Record, brought another type of challenge because it is a biblical production. What did this experience teach you as an actress and as a person?
For me, as a Christian and God-fearing person, being in a biblical production was incredible. The atmosphere was really what I see in the Bible, and it made me very emotional and happy. The scene was relatively large and we shot the whole thing in one take.
You have already done advertising campaigns for important brands, such as Lojas Americanas and Ortobom. What is it like to be involved in so many different types of projects, and what do you enjoy most about each one?
I love filming commercials, I feel very comfortable in front of the camera. What I enjoy most is the production itself, creating the costumes and making new friends. The feeling of being in the middle of it all is incredible!

With so many fan clubs spread across Brazil, you already have an audience that follows you with great affection. What is it like for you to receive this love from people even though you are so young?
Seriously, I love this affection so much! I’m happy with the posts, especially the edits you make of me. One day, I really want to have the opportunity to meet my divas and, whenever I can, I interact with the fans, of course, with the supervision of my parents.
You already study acting and have taken courses with important names such as Andréa Avancini. What do you like most about learning in TV and film classes, and what is your biggest dream as an actress?
I really enjoy learning about prosody (scenes with accents), drama scenes and, especially, comedy scenes, which I love very much. My biggest dream is to be a Hollywood actress. Since I grew up and developed with my aunt Andrea, her teaching method is really different. Since I’m in the master class, there’s no easy way out!
