With performances by Bell Marques, Timbalada, Durval Lelys and more, the event celebrated 40 years of Axé Music with energy and emotion from start to finish.

Brasília experienced two days of pure energy, nostalgia, and innovation with the success of the 2025 edition of the Micarê Festival.

The event took place on May 2 and 3 at the BRB Mané Garrincha Arena Parking Lot, drawing over 30,000 revelers passionate about axé music, and marked a new era for major festivals in the country by becoming Brazil’s first sustainable micareta.

With a lineup that had the crowd dancing from beginning to end, iconic names like Bell Marques, Durval Lelys, Timbalada, Tomate, Banda Eva, Xanddy Harmonia, and Rafa & Pipo brought the contagious energy of Axé Music to the trio elétricos.

The atmosphere was pure celebration — and not just because of the music: this year, Micarê gave revelers a conscious, modern, and historic experience.

Spotlight on Sustainability
The 2025 Micarê Festival took a bold step in environmental responsibility by implementing a series of actions that made it carbon neutral.

With the Carbon Zero seal, the event’s entire environmental impact was measured and fully offset with certified carbon credits. The organization also invested in:

Promoting sustainable transportation, with carpooling campaigns and bike racks on-site;

Waste reduction and proper disposal, with selective collection and an integrated recycling operation throughout the two-day event;

Social support, with food donations collected for Abrace, an institution recognized for its care of children and adolescents with cancer and blood disorders.

A Toast to Axé Music History
To honor 40 years of Axé Music, the first revelers to arrive at the venue received an exclusive commemorative cup. This symbolic gesture celebrated not only the musical legacy of one of Brazil’s greatest cultural expressions, but also the emotional connection that unites thousands of fans to the genre born in Bahia and embraced nationwide.

Top-Tier Structure and Exemplary Organization

The festival’s success was also reflected in its massive infrastructure: two different abadás (party shirts), two electric trios keeping the energy high, an exclusive beauty salon in the VIP area curated by the renowned Ricardo Maia, consistently clean restrooms throughout the night, themed decorations, efficient bar service during the entire event, and over 40 container modules — including restrooms, dressing rooms, ticket offices, and offices — ensuring comfort and functionality for the audience, performers, and production team.

“The decoration was one of the major highlights and received praise from every artist who performed at the event.

With another flawless edition, the Micarê Festival stands out as a national reference among micaretas and continues to solidify its place in the country’s major event circuit,” said André D’Alessandro, partner at Medley Produções, one of the festival’s organizers.
