Brazilian fashion will take the international spotlight on October 26, when designers Maísa Gouveia and Natália Gouveia take the runway at Global Couture U.S., an event to be held at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C.

With the theme “Watercolor of Styles,” the designers present a vibrant and lively collection inspired by diversity and the freedom of self-expression. The creations explore a rich palette of colors and textures, celebrating plurality and the beauty of differences — a hallmark of the designers, recognized for combining sophistication, authenticity, and Brazilian essence in their pieces.

The looks transition between fitted and flowing cuts, creating a visual harmony that values different body types and personalities. The godet cut, a highlight of the collection, appears reinterpreted with contemporary touches, while the detailed finish of the sleeves adds freshness and elegance to the ensembles.

“‘Watercolor of Styles’ is a celebration of individuality. Each color, shape, and texture was designed to translate emotions and stories — because fashion is, above all, a form of expression,” say Maísa Gouveia and Natália Gouveia.

More than a fashion show, the presentation promises to be a sensory experience, where each look is treated as a work of art. The collection reflects the designers’ creative vision of fashion as a bridge between cultures and identities, reinforcing the presence of Brazilian design on the international stage.
