Held on Avenida Beira-Mar, one of the most iconic addresses in Rio de Janeiro, the event brought together business leaders, investors, representatives of investment funds, executives, diplomats, members of chambers of commerce, lawmakers, public authorities, tourism operators, journalists, influencers, and opinion makers.

Through panels and roundtable discussions, specialists and public leaders addressed strategic themes such as South American Integration Routes, investment attraction policies, the Acre Export Processing Zone (EPZ), bioeconomy, ethnotourism, sustainable tourism, and Acre’s role as a logistics corridor connecting Brazil to Pacific markets. The program demonstrated, with technical depth and a forward-looking perspective, why Acre stands out as one of Brazil’s most promising development frontiers.

Opening the event, Mailza Assis set a tone of enthusiasm and confidence that resonated throughout the audience. In a poised and compelling speech filled with pride for her state, she presented Acre as modern, competitive, and fully prepared to receive both domestic and international investment.

“We are located at a strategic point in South America. This position allows us to strengthen integration with neighboring countries, expand our presence in international trade, and create new opportunities for the development of Acre and Brazil,” the governor said.

More than presenting figures and projects, she conveyed the conviction that Acre is experiencing a unique moment, in which its natural wealth, strategic location, and the strength of its people converge toward a new cycle of prosperity.

One of the central points of the presentation was Acre’s privileged geographic position. Connected to Pacific ports through the Interoceanic Highway, the state is consolidating its role as Brazil’s gateway to Asian markets, offering logistics advantages and increasing the competitiveness of Brazilian products.

In an international environment marked by expanding trade with Asia, this strategic advantage places Acre in a strong position to attract investment and strengthen its global presence.

According to Lauro Veiga, Human Resources Operations Director of the Acre Export Processing Zone and the architect behind the event, “Vem pro Acre” was designed to present the state strategically to audiences with genuine interest in the opportunities the region offers. In his view, Acre’s geographic location is a unique competitive advantage capable of bringing Brazil closer to Pacific markets and expanding business and trade integration opportunities.

The governor also highlighted Acre’s strengths in bioeconomy, sustainable agribusiness, forest-based industry, fish farming, coffee production, and the creative economy. Combined with legal certainty, tax incentives, and the government’s strong coordination capacity, these sectors make Acre fertile ground for innovative and sustainable business ventures.
