The influencer, image strategist, and Miss Goiás 2018, Giovanna Veríssimo, was one of the guests at the second edition of the Equilíbrio Event, conceived by Janaína Valéria, CEO of the project that is currently considered one of the largest gatherings of female entrepreneurship in the Midwest. The event brought together over 700 women in Goiânia for an immersion focused on personal, professional, and emotional development.
The invitation to participate in the event arose in recognition of Giovanna’s trajectory in the world of image, communication, positioning, and female development over more than 23 years of activity. During the event, she shared the stage with national names such as Renato Cariani, Andrea Vermond, and Ana Beatriz Barros.
In her presentation, Giovanna shared her story as an international model, digital influencer, and image strategist, reinforcing that no success story happens overnight. The speaker highlighted the importance of women ceasing to wait for external approval before acting towards their goals.
“We live in a society where many women postpone dreams and opportunities for fear of judgment, criticism, or comparison. My goal was to show that taking a stand isn’t about becoming someone different, but about having the courage to show the world who you really are,” she stated.
Giovanna also brought a perspective grounded in Christian principles that are part of her personal life, emphasizing that taking care of one’s image goes beyond aesthetics and is linked to responsibility, credibility, and influence.
“I believe we are temples of the Holy Spirit and that our image communicates even before our words. Taking care of our posture, presence, and how we present ourselves is also a way of transmitting our values and purpose,” she explained.
Throughout the presentation, the influencer reinforced the importance of identity and constant evolution, encouraging participants to focus on their own growth without living in comparison to others.
One of the most striking moments, according to Giovanna, happened after the lecture, when several women approached her to express identification with the message shared on stage.
“Many said they needed to hear exactly that at that moment in their lives, especially about overcoming the fear of judgment and believing more in themselves. This further reinforces my purpose of helping women develop an image aligned with their identity, their values, and their mission,” she concluded.
