The event in Pozzuoli, held on Monday (26), raised donations for families who have been unable to return home since July
Brazilian model Cristtina Mendonça, who lives in Italy, participated in the “Napoli Legends per Pozzuoli” charity walk held on Monday (26). The event raised donations for families who have yet to return to their homes following an earthquake that struck Pozzuoli, in the Naples region, in July.
The walk began at 11:00 a.m. local time on Via Terracciano. From there, participants walked approximately 2.5 kilometers, passing through Via Artiaco, Piazza Capomazza, and Via Campi Flegrei—a route that took them through areas affected by the earthquake.

On July 31, a 4.7-magnitude tremor damaged properties in the Phlegraean Fields (Campi Flegrei) area. According to Italy’s National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), approximately 800 people in Pozzuoli were forced to leave their homes.
Nearly three months later, some residents are still unable to return. Donations from the campaign are being collected by the Diocesan Caritas of Pozzuoli to support the affected families.

The event also featured notable figures such as Francesca Schiavone, Valentina Rodinei, Francesca Lollobrigida, and Maurízia Cacciatori, among others.
