Titled “EPica 2”, the singer’s new work hits digital platforms this Thursday (29)

After conquering Brazil with her musical talent and uniqueness, Danny Bond releases her newest work this Thursday (29). Titled “EPica 2”, the album with seven engaging tracks, which promise to make the audience dance, is influenced by the most played rhythms in Maceió, such as reggae and brega funk. The singer values her roots, making reference to the community where she became known as Rainha do Jacintinho. The work featured producers Dj RaMeMes (Pabllo Vittar featuring Anitta), Pzzs (Pabllo Vittar featuring Mc Naninha), Clementaum and Cyberkills (Pabllo Vittar featuring Jup do Bairro, Mc Carol).

“This is an album that I’ve wanted to release for a long time and it came at the right time, at the right moment. With it, I brought, not only the rhythms, but also the lyrics, the Danny Bond of the ‘old testament’, as my fans like to say. I brought all my origins, where I came from – the Jacintinho favela – where I transformed it all into something more current and something that reaches a national level! This is ‘EPica 2’, this is the new era!”, says Danny Bond.

With this album, Danny takes a new step in her career, ceasing to be a local pop diva and becoming one of the most sought-after names in the LGBTQIAP+ scene in Brazil, including being invited to be one of the highlights of the São Paulo Pride Parade in 2024 and being part of the line-up of the main festivals of the queer scene in the country over the last 5 years.

Just like her first studio work, the artist’s new project is full of cultural appeal and follows the entire trajectory of Danny, who began his career in Jacintinho, one of the most populated favelas in Maceió, an environment portrayed in his most successful song, “Tcheca”, which now receives a new remixed version. “EPica 2” also arrives to consolidate the singer’s image as one of the main black trans artists in the Brazilian pop and rap scene.
