Child actress Ana Bispo, just 6 years old, is one of the new names in the telenovela “Quem Ama Cuida” (Those Who Love, Care), the next 9 pm production on TV Globo, written by Walcyr Carrasco. In the plot, she plays Michele, a character who goes through moments of loss and reunion after a flood, in a narrative marked by emotion and family bonds. In an interview, Ana talks about her experience in the project and the beginning of an artistic career that, despite her young age, already includes work in fashion, advertising, film, and television.
Ana, you started out in front of the cameras when you were very young. What do you enjoy most when you’re filming?
I think it’s all really cool, especially the part about pretending to be someone else, having a different name, being a character.
In the soap opera, Michele experiences very emotional moments. What was it like for you to get to know this character and play the role of her in the scenes?
I really enjoyed playing Michele and I was able to adapt very well, even though it was a very emotional scene.
Michele goes through a flood and also experiences important reunions. What did you find most beautiful about her story?
The love for her mother and sister, and the reunion with her mother at the shelter.
When you’re filming, is there a particular scene, moment, or memory from the set that makes you happiest?
I was very happy during the rain scene. It was exciting, and I loved doing it.
You also enjoy singing, dancing, photography, and video recording. Which of these things makes your heart beat faster?
They all make me very happy, but I love dancing and recording.
Even though you’re so young, you’re already taking courses and enjoy learning more. What do you find most fun when you’re studying theater or TV?
I took a film and television course, and I really enjoy learning how to act.
How was it for you to join such an important telenovela as Quem Ama Cuida? Do you remember how you felt when you found out?
I was very happy. I was fulfilling a dream.
If you could dream really big right now, what would you most like to do in the future as an artist?
