Lorena Queiroz, born in Pedreira, in the interior of São Paulo, began his artistic career at the age of 4 as a model through Projeto Passarela. At the same stage, she won the title of Miss Brasil Fotogenia when representing her city in the Miss São Paulo beauty contest, reaching the top 5 nationally.

Her entry into the world of TV and her first step as an actress took place in 2016, when she was chosen to play Dulce Maria, the protagonist of the children’s soap opera “Carinha de Anjo”, produced and broadcast by SBT. In October 2021, the plot joined the Netflix catalog.

With the baggage and learning acquired in television drama, Lorena reached higher heights. The following year, in 2017, she debuted in theaters in the film “Meus 15 anos”, playing the protagonist Bia during her childhood. She also participated in the film “10 Hours to Christmas” in 2019 and recorded “Alice in the World of the Internet” in 2020, where she played the main role. The latter was launched in August 2022, achieving great success on digital platforms.

Demonstrating that her artistic streak is deeply rooted, Lorena expanded her activities to the theater. In March 2018, she debuted on stage as Marta Von Trapp in the show “A Noviça Rebelde”, by Charles Moeller and Claudio Botelho. Always open to new experiences, in 2020, she had the chance to shine as a presenter in “Modo Kids”, broadcast on the Discovery Kids YouTube channel.

As a notable influence, Lorena also paved the way for the success of her younger brother, Enrico. In July 2022, the two shared the stage in the play “Peter Pan”, by Cynthia Falabella, playing the brothers Miguel and Wendy. This fruitful collaboration will be repeated in “StandUp – o Filme”, with comedians Fábio Rabin and Marco Luque, a project in which both are currently involved. The premiere date has not yet been confirmed.

As a result of her growing career, success began to follow her and the affection of her fans became increasingly evident. As a way of being closer to her audience, Lorena created her own YouTube channel, where she shares content about her routine, welcomes guests, presents recipes, art tutorials, among others. Currently, she has more than 2 million subscribers on the platform. Furthermore, she is an active figure on Instagram, with more than 8 million followers, and enjoys choreography and games on TikTok, where she has more than 960 thousand fans.

Exploring other facets of art, Lorena occasionally ventures into music. She released her first CD in March 2018, becoming known to children through hits such as “Meu Nome é Lorena”, “Arco Iris”, “Não Tem Medo de Nada”, “Algodão Doce e Guaraná”. In 2023, already in her teens, Lorena resumed her musical projects, releasing the single “Crush”, a song that reflects themes relevant to her age. The music video for the song, where the star presents his first “crush”, actor Théo Medon, was also released.

Remembering good memories, Lorena decided to share a little more about her journey and her experiences in three successful literary works: “A Festa de Lorena Queiroz”, “O Diário de Dulce Maria” and “Carinha de Anjo”.

From beginning your career as a model at age 4 to your recent successes in film, theater, television and music, you have achieved many accomplishments. How would you describe your journey so far?

I am very grateful for everything I have achieved, the work I have done and all the learning that my artistic career has brought. I’m sure my experiences helped me become who I am today. I can say that the basis of my journey is persistence and dedication. We need to dream a lot, but also fight for our dreams. Dream and go after it.

You had the opportunity to play the protagonist Dulce Maria in the soap opera “Carinha de Anjo”, which is also available on Netflix. What was that experience like and what impact did it have on your career?

Playing Dulce Maria was the greatest gift of my life. It was through her that I started my career as an actress. In my first job on TV, I started as a protagonist… is there anything more important than that? I can say that it was a very important experience, which taught me many lessons and opened many other doors for me in the artistic world. Even though I was very young at the time, everything I learned was enriching and very valuable.

You’ve released music, including the recent single “Crush,” which had an adorable music video. What is it like for you to explore music and express your emotions through it?

I’ve always loved singing. In fact, my mother even thought I would pursue music and not acting, can you believe it? The truth is that music is also part of me and goes hand in hand with my career as an actress. About the song, ‘crush’ is a subject that is talked about a lot by girls my age, so, through the song and the video, I tried to represent a feeling that people who are in their teens feel. It’s an important and cute song! Brings all the purity of feeling.

You are a strong presence on social media, with a YouTube channel and many followers on Instagram and TikTok. How do you balance your online presence with your artistic pursuits?

Look, for me it’s something very normal. I think I can balance my digital presence with my career because the two things complement each other. Furthermore, my day-to-day activities also influence all of this, so that everything I post ends up really being what I experience. Of course, my mother also helps me filter some content so that I don’t expose myself too much, but overall, it’s something very normal and simple for me.

In addition to all your activities, you also released books such as “A Festa de Lorena Queiroz” and “O Diário de Dulce Maria”. What was the experience of writing and sharing your journey with fans like?

I wrote my books with the help of my mother. When the proposal came up, we rescued stories and talked about it, at first, without worrying too much about how it would end up on paper. We recorded audio and only then started writing. It was really cool to tell my story and experiences to people.

How do you deal with the recognition and awards you have received over the years? What award or recognition was especially meaningful to you?

I received my first award in 2017, it was the Contigo Award! Online, in the Best Child Artist category. Afterwards, I won two Nick Awards, one in 2019, in the Instagram of the Year category, and another in the Trend by Nick Bet category, in 2020. I also received two Youth Awards, in the Young Man of the Future category, one in 2020 and one in 2021. In fact, , this year I am competing for three other categories of the Young Award: Best Actress, Best Fandom in Brazil and Young Man of the Future. It’s wonderful to have this recognition. Something I never imagined, at my age, achieving. But I feel immensely happy and grateful to my family and my fans, because without them, I wouldn’t have gotten this far.

You had the chance to act alongside your younger brother, Enrico, in productions such as “Peter Pan” and “StandUp – the Movie”. What is it like working on projects with him and how does this partnership influence your creative dynamics?

I always joke that a fish’s brother is a little fish! Enrico became interested in acting after seeing so much of my work, so for me it’s incredible to see him follow this path too. In both productions, he played my brother, so we ended up doing it perfectly. It was a very different and fun experience, he was a success! I’m very proud.

What can we expect from you in the future? What are your plans and ongoing projects that fans can look forward to?

For now, I can say that I still have new songs to release. One of them, in fact, is my composition. This year, I’m still waiting for the film Stand Up to premiere and I can say that I’ll be in a very cool series on streaming.
