Model and fashion influencer Schynaider Moura barely returned from vacation and was already running to try on her look that was being produced exclusively for her presence at the Vogue Ball.
The look is a handcrafted work called “Sublime Dove”. It was inspired by the Goddess Eurynome , creator of the Universe, who had a body that was half woman and half fish. In mythology, Eurynome took the form of a dove to lay the universal egg from which all creation comes.
The design was developed from exclusive metallic pieces that were connected one by one, representing the metallic reflections in the dove’s plumage, with applications of other metallic pieces of different shapes and sizes throughout the look, which gave fluidity and represented the scales of fish from the body of the Goddess Eurynome . The balaclava and bracelets were crocheted with silicone threads, also with applications of metallic pieces, referencing the design inspiration.
The look is designed by stylist Mayra Lupion from the EMANA Handmade brand , produced by designer Douglas Buchmann. Made exclusively for the top to wear on the occasion, it has more than 5,000.00 handmade metal pieces, in a production with more than 80 hours of production and weighing approximately 7 kilos .
“I managed to take a month off to energize myself in the face of so many commitments that I will have this year, and everything was perfect! I managed to get back on time and my team had already left everything organized so that I had this beautiful and perfect look. We spent hours at the assembly, most of it was adjusted directly to my body hours before the event. I loved it, thanks team!” says Schynaider who paraded in the red carpet and attracted attention wherever he went in the party corridors.
