GR6, the largest producer of urban music in Latin America, started the opening of the 3rd edition of Feira da Música, at its headquarters in the north of São Paulo, bringing together the biggest producers of funk, rap, trap, piseiro, pagode and samba from the Brazil.

At the opening, Rodrigo Oliveira, president of GR6, emphasized the importance of the fair, where in addition to bringing together the main names in the music and phonographic scene, the event aims to connect musical productions with artists of all genres to create hits and encourage new ones. talents.

Personalities such as Hariel, Don Juan, Mc Davi, Dj Ronald, Mc G15, Salvador da Rima, Mc Livinho, Caverinha, Real Bege, Netinho de Paula, Nelson Triunfo, Aline Torres, secretary of culture of the capital, in addition to the rapper Ice Blue advisor from the producer are present at the event.

“The Music Fair is already part of the calendar of music events in the country, where we connect artists, entrepreneurs, contractors to further strengthen our segment, giving opportunity to new talents, mainly from the periphery”, emphasizes Rodrigo Oliveira.

During the opening, GR6 president Rodrigo Oliveira was honored with the Pedro Ernesto Medal Set, from the Rio de Janeiro City Council, for his fight for public health. The decoration was handed over by Tânia Bastos, vice-president of the city council of Rio de Janeiro.

The Medal of Merit Pedro Ernesto is the main tribute that Rio de Janeiro pays to those who stand out in Brazilian or international society.

“This is a fair tribute, granted to a dedicated professional, who for so many years has played a role of great importance in music and in encouraging young people from the periphery of the whole country”, emphasizes councilwoman Tânia Bastos.

“Funk changed my life and we are here today to change the lives of these kids from the periphery so that they don’t give up on their dreams and believe that music saves lives and that the purpose of GR6 is to give opportunity and reach where many don’t reach , for us this recognition is an honor, as we have an intense work across the country and Rio de Janeiro which is the birthplace of funk, being able to embrace this is a victory for music and for young people across the country, he comments Rodrigo Oliveira.
