Actress and model Amanda França is back on RedeTV!, debuting as a stage assistant in João Kléber’s new program, “Teste de Fidelidade”. After stepping away from the small screen in 2020 to dedicate herself to her brand of women’s sandals, she received an invitation to return to the station where she started her career, alongside João Kléber himself in the program “Você na TV” and in pranks. Amanda faces this new challenge as if she were stepping on stage for the first time, but she relies on the presenter’s experience and support to face the responsibility of interacting with him and commenting on improvised scenes during the program.

The reunion with TV friends and the contact with the audience and the cameras bring joy to Amanda, who admires João Kléber’s speed and dynamism. Her mission as a stagehand is to receive guests, interview people in the audience and interact with the presenter, all without watching the audition in advance, which requires agility and quick responses to keep the pace of the program. Even with her new venture on television, Amanda’s routine remains busy, reconciling work as a photographic model, managing her brand and spending time with her fiancé.

With great enthusiasm and determination, Amanda França faces the “Test of Loyalty” as an exciting challenge, showing her versatility and talent in yet another important role on Brazilian TV.

How has your experience been returning to RedeTV! as a stagehand on the new ‘Test of Loyalty’?

It’s a very special comeback, it’s been a magical cycle. When I joined SBT, even before being João Kléber’s assistant at RedeTV!, I never thought I could leave the small screen. But after 5 years working with it, I realized that I needed to reinvent myself. I wanted to face new challenges, new projects and breathe different airs. And that’s what I did at that moment. I left everything behind and launched my brand of sandals, dedicated myself more to my career as a photographic model and became an ambassador for important brands. I went to a more publicity, more commercial side. And, as life is made of cycles (laughs), once again I realized that I needed new projects. It was then that, coincidentally, RedeTV! asked me to come back. Got it on time! Butterflies in my stomach are inevitable, it feels like my first time on TV. And that’s been really cool, motivates me a lot. I’m enjoying it too much, seeing friends and reinventing myself once again.

You mentioned that João Kléber is your great teacher. How has it been working with him again?

João is the master of improvisation, he knows everything about TV and communication. He goes on stage and puts on a show, he’s a complete artist. And that’s not kissing ass, it’s admiration. I have enormous respect for him. Not just because of the person, but because of the presenter he is, because of the importance he has on television. Working alongside those you admire and learn from is priceless. I feel accomplished. I am very grateful for everything he has taught me and for all the opportunities.

How does it feel to step on stage for the first time in this new role? Is there any nervousness involved?

I wouldn’t say nervous, but I get anxious. It always seems that I’m stepping on stage for the first time, it gives me butterflies in my stomach, that thing of venturing out and jumping into the new. But it’s a nice chill. Anxiety hits mainly because we need to improvise right then and there. There’s no decorated text or anything like that. It’s always a different show, the reactions are amazing and the show is very dynamic. It’s a box of surprises.

How is the dynamic of the program and your interaction with João Kléber during the scenes? How do you deal with improvisation?

We have a really cool tune on stage. João makes me feel free to comment on the scenes, to talk and interact with the audience. He is very generous in that sense. So he always has a fluid, light and fun conversation. I respect his space as a presenter, not interrupting and making pointed comments, and he respects mine. Improvisation is really very challenging, he would say it’s practice. I already took a few ear pulls at the beginning, it’s part of it. That’s what makes us learn and grow. João is very fast, very dynamic. I have to be always attentive to everything, connected to the program and the scenes. I need to think before him, which is really hard (laughs). But the result has been nice, there is a connection and that is very positive.

You mentioned that if you’re not careful, the program can slow down. How do you prepare to always be connected to everything?

When I enter the studio, I disconnect from everything and dedicate myself 100% to the program. I forget about my problems, my off-TV jobs and my worries. I watch each scene with the utmost attention and focus on interactions with João and the audience. There’s no secret: it’s about focusing on what you’re doing. Only then does the work flow.

How do you balance your career as a photographic model, managing your brand and working on TV? How is your daily routine?

It’s all very intense, I don’t even know how I handle it all (laughs). But I would say that it is the organization, the time management itself. I learned a lot in practice, or rather, by force (laughs). That comes with maturity. Today I dedicate myself more to my brand, and I have a team that helps me in every detail. Of course I’m there managing everything, ahead of all the processes. But having a competent team makes all the difference. For the rest, organization is key. I learned to schedule appointments, use the agenda, commit to activities that really match my interests, and so on.

Besides work, what are your other passions and activities that you invest your time in?

I’m in love with the gym! I lead a healthy lifestyle, I enjoy bodybuilding, outdoor activities and travelling. In these years as a model, I’ve learned that these moments are essential and I’ve been giving more time in my schedule to do what I like.

How would you describe the Amanda França of today compared to the Amanda França who started at RedeTV!?

Naturally, the Amanda from before was immature, quite anxious, and maybe a little silly. I learned a lot the hard way, in my day-to-day work, listening to more experienced people and getting my shit together too. Life taught me. I became an entrepreneur and I try to be better every day. The Amanda of today is more mature, she knows what she wants, she is more focused and more accomplished too. I’m at my best.

What can viewers expect from the new ‘Loyalty Test’? What are the novelties and differentials of the program?

The Loyalty Test has been successful for years. It is a format by João Kléber himself that has already traveled the world. And of course the new season promises to be one of the biggest audiences on TV. Now, the program has an investigative footprint. The production spies on messages on cell phones, follows those tested everywhere and always brings some technological resource to show whether the man is faithful or not. Oh, and there will be tests with women too… In each episode, controversies, laughter and many surprises. Every week I am amazed by the degree of investigation, and it impresses the public too. It really is one bomb after another. Unmissable!

What message would you like to leave for your fans and admirers who are looking forward to seeing you return to TV?

My followers and fans are the foundation of everything, my career and what I’ve built so far. My message is always one of thanks and gratitude. Stay tuned for the new Loyalty Test every Wednesday at 11:30 pm, alongside Super Pop on RedeTV!. See you on the small screens and on my Instagram @amandafranca.oficial.
