The song, the result of a collaboration with Jéf Souza, was recorded at Rick Bonadio’s Midas studio and features masterful arrangements by Júnior Lanne, providing a unique sound experience.

Owner of a captivating voice and a captivating pop style, Myrella distills versatility. The song “Bem Clichê” embraces the essence of a romantic love, a meeting that freezes time and makes the world revolve around the beauty of the feeling. However, Myrella is not limited to these themes, being known for her musical diversity.

His recent show at Ton Ton Jazz, in Moema, was an intimate event, where he presented his original songs and interpretations of pop rock classics from the 90s. However, the highlight of the night was the preview of the release of “Bem Clichê”, a single that was born out of collaboration with her fans on social media, showing her genuine connection with her audience.

Myrella has already trodden a remarkable musical path. Her first album, “Tempoética”, released in 2010, marked the beginning of her authorial journey. Over the years, she has continued to delight her audience with eclectic compositions that explore different genres, from baião to pop, from samba to soul. His second album, “Faces”, released in 2013, further expanded his artistic expression, including even two songs in Spanish.

Myrella’s presence goes beyond the traditional stages. Her performance as a street artist on Avenida Paulista won over a legion of fans. She sees this challenge as a genuine way to share art and connect with people. Her authenticity and passion for music has also led her to participate in several festivals and even be featured in a TV series.

With more than 22 years of career, more than 30 songs released and a passionate fan base, Myrella Nascimento continues to tread a unique and inspiring musical path. She not only conquered the public’s ears, but also left an indelible mark on the Brazilian music scene. And as she continues to create and share her art, her impact will only grow.

The song “Bem Clichê” features an interesting collaboration between you and Jéf Souza, who is champion of the composition reality Breakout Brasil. How was the experience of working with him and how did that influence the direction of the music?

This song is already the fifth composition in partnership with Jéf. I’ve always been a fan of his, I think he’s a great artist and songwriter, and when he was on the reality show he was the person I rooted for. In 2019 I spoke to him via message on Instagram and he agreed to do a composition session with me. And right away, he had a super match with the composition “Give me 1 minute” and from then on, whenever it happens, I call him to compose it because the tune is very good and the result is even better.

The song “Bem Clichê” was recorded at the studio Midas of the famous producer Rick Bonadio, with arrangements and musical production by Júnior Lanne. How was the experience of recording in this renowned environment and how did it affect the outcome of the track?

It’s a first-class studio in Latin America, but Lanne’s production and affection for the track is what really made all the difference. Always looking for the best timbre and sound for the best result. He has more than 30 years of experience in this market, so it’s the perfect dish for anyone who is hungry and in the mood to eat.

The release of the song “Bem Clichê” was accompanied by a show at Ton Ton Jazz, in Moema. How was the public response to this new song? And how does it feel to share your songs with a live audience?

It’s always a great anxiety and expectation to show something new. Those who were there that day were my fans and friends, and I know I can always count on their support and affection. The strategy of showing the song before its release made them feel gifted, and to my delight they loved it, now it’s time to take the song all over Brazil and win new hearts with this romantic song.

In addition to your musical career, you are also known for being a street artist, performing on Avenida Paulista on Sundays. How does this experience influence your musical approach and connection with the audience?

Av. Paulista for me was the great school of connection with the public, I’ve been there since 2018 and when I started, people didn’t go there to see me sing. Anyone interested in sound would stop in front of my show. Gradually I built my audience, today they come to see me and new people always arrive. There I learned to communicate and to enter each one’s heart in a delicate way, art has this angelic gift of touching people’s souls, and I learned to do this in practice, live, eye to eye. It’s a wonderful exchange of energy that is reflected in my compositions and my way of singing. I never take a ready-made repertoire, I sing what I feel like playing when I’m there.

His new song talks about a clichéd romance that never goes out of style. How do you find inspiration to create music that tackles universal themes in a new and captivating way?

Love never goes out of style, I hope so, it is the fuel of life. The inspirations are from my own story and the stories my fans tell. I’m romantic, I always believe in the power of love, and being able to bring that to music in a different way is what I look for in most of my compositions. Be it self-love, be it love for others, be it love for life.

You’ve released several singles and music videos throughout your career, including the “Finally is Love” trilogy. Can you tell us more about the concept behind this trilogy and how each song connects to the story in search of true love?

This trilogy is a classic in the life of anyone over 30 years old, it begins with the song “Give me 1 minute”, the person in search of love! That person who does self-advertisement saying how cool it is to be by their side. An excerpt goes like this: “but I do everything to win your heart” is the typical love speech. The music video for this song is very cheerful and fun, Myrella showing her way of being and her skills by sending videos in an attempt to win over the person she loves.

The second single of the trilogy is a little denser, so much so that the very coloring of the clip enters into this climate, the song “Te amo emsilence” speaks of unrequited love. That is, all that “propaganda” was in vain, it had no effect on who she imagined. And she, in turn, stayed there loving alone, in silence.

The third track that gives the name to the trilogy, “Finalmente é amor” brings back the lightness, because Myrella finally finds the love she always dreamed of, accidentally, in the middle of the street, it was nobody she had her eyes on, simply came your way as a gift from the universe. The song says: “it took me a while to find you, I gave up looking, but each time in your place and you arrived without warning”. The actor in the clip is my husband, with whom I have been married for 13 years, real stories blending with art.

With more than 22 years of music career, more than 30 songs released and more than 1 million plays on Spotify, how do you see the evolution of your music over time and how do you define the style that best represents you as an artist?

As Raul Seixas would say: “I prefer to be this walking metamorphosis, than to have that old opinion formed about everything.” As human beings, we are in constant learning and evolution, and Myrella, who at the age of 15 composed “Rosa Prata” is not the same as she is today, but her essence is. So I believe that my essence was always present in my songs, what evolved was the way of composing, the arrangements and choice of musical rhythms. I used to be more classical MPB, with samba and baião songs. Today I consider myself a Light Pop artist, New MPB with a dash of soul music.

In addition to music, you are also a multifaceted singer and songwriter, including producing covers of popular hits. How do you choose songs to reinterpret and how do you leave your personal stamp on those versions?

I like to cover what I hear and identify with, what I also believe in. Then I try to leave my vocal mark and my style when playing the guitar to leave the interpretation as if it were my own composition. By the way, this is a good way to win new fans, because the connecting link is an already known song, but with a new look.

You have a rich and varied musical trajectory, from the release of your first album “Tempoética” to the experience of being a street artist and recent collaborations. What would you say is the common thread that unites all these different phases of your career?

The faith that it will work, the confidence that I do a very good job. Above all, my resilience and the power of believing in myself, and it’s not leonine demagoguery, it’s really what moves the gears, because there are many disappointments on the journey, and life tests you all the time to know if in fact you is ready.

There is a show scheduled on the north coast for the second half of September. Can you give us a glimpse of what fans can expect from this event?
