In Elaine’s quiet routine, the discovery of a magical spiral triggers a journey that transforms her ordinary life into an extraordinary adventure. The book “The Numbers of Ághora: Seven”, written by Fábio BeGi, immerses readers in a universe full of magical kingdoms, fantastic beings and epic challenges.

Elaine, the young protagonist, crosses the border between reality and the fantastic when entering the enchanted world of Ághora. In this realm of wonders and dangers, she discovers that her family lineage gives her an extraordinary responsibility: to face powerful villains and save the inhabitants of Ághora from the dominion of dark forces.

Accompanied by Chien, a brave little warrior, and Sheeva, a winged kitten, Elaine faces epic challenges. Amidst imposing forests and lush kingdoms, the friendship between the trio becomes a crucial foundation to overcome obstacles and protect the peace of Ághora.

“The Numbers of Ághora: Seven” transcends adventure to explore universal themes like empathy, love and overcoming. Fábio BeGi leads readers through a narrative full of mysteries and twists, highlighting the importance of justice, honesty and kindness as the true powers that drive individuals.

In this captivating story, values like friendship and the pursuit of the common good come to life, reminding readers young and old that, in the midst of extraordinary challenges, it is the simplest human values that light the path toward true heroism.

Elaine, the protagonist of “The Numbers of Ághora: Seven”, embarks on an adventure when she discovers a spiral that will take her to a fantastic world. How would you describe the process of creating this universe and the different landscapes she encounters?

The process of creating the Kingdoms of Ághora comes with inspiration from several books and role-playing games, both board and video games. Always very common for the setting of a good story, the composition of the “map” of a new world is built meticulously and with great care, as each location – and Ághora has many – must reflect the different nuances of their respective guardians. Some places are pleasant and inviting while others pose constant dangers and should be avoided as much as possible. Good themes can emerge even using just a small room or a trip inside a trailer as a background, but being able to develop an open world with so many different stages guarantees greater immersion for an adventure that asks for exploration and knowledge. Ághora is a world that does have its limits, but,

In the plot, Elaine is faced with the responsibility of fighting powerful villains to save the inhabitants of Ághora. What is the inspiration behind the family lineage summoned to solve this world’s problems?

When this story was idealized, it did not begin to be written from its beginning, which goes back to several generations of the same family. The main reason for choosing this path is to be able to tell an adventure that comes from a long time ago and can go on for a long time. In pop culture, we can find the theme of family continuity in movies, such as the Star Wars saga and the Skywalkers, in anime, such as Naruto/Boruto, in video games, such as Castlevania and the Belmonts, or in books, such as Game Of Thrones and the Targaryen family. All of those cited served as the basis for adopting the family that, from predecessor to successor, finds already marked in some of their names a strong connection with the world of Ághora and the possibility of one day traveling there. Although, the connection between family members does not occur solely and exclusively in a straight line, since it is not necessarily the parents and then their children who have this mission. The reason for all this lies in the origin story that has yet to be written.

Elaine’s interaction with characters like Chien, a small warrior, and Sheeva, a winged kitten, is essential to the plot. How do these relationships contribute to the challenges she faces and the messages about friendship in the book?

The connection between these three main characters is almost immediate. Elaine, who is originally from our Earth, and Sheeva and Chien, who live in Ághora – each belonging to one of the kingdoms. The growing union between them establishes a strong bond of friendship that will make the adventure they go through more possible to be carried out. In a life in society, we are never isolated. We are not even the only heroes in our own adventures. We always have in our family members, friends, teachers, co-workers and even in people who are unknown to us a two-way relationship, of action and retribution that can help us a lot in the moments when we need it most, at the same time that they can help us disturb in the same proportion if we cannot live in harmony. Elaine, Sheeva and Chien are fundamental to each other to complete the mission proposed to them, but this will not always bring everyone only happy moments, because true friends are also together in adversity, whatever they may be, and do what has to be done even if it sometimes ends up hurting. But they never stop being linked by a strong feeling of affection and companionship that so characterizes a true friendship.

Universal values such as empathy, love, justice and kindness are addressed in the book in an engaging way. How did you build the narrative to convey these values to readers, especially young audiences?

Every generation that goes through their time always sees the new generation as something a little negative, as if in the past things were always better. The fact is that we can indeed be right about certain aspects of what we criticize, but the world always moves forward and in a way tends to improve over time in many ways. Technology changes, language understanding changes, music creates new styles, dance reinvents itself and so on. But there are things that will never change in human beings: our feelings. Generally speaking, what hurts one human being should hurt us all, but we are so unique and so different that we can and do have very different perspectives on the most varied themes and events. The world is, yes, relative in its many realities, but there are things that are unique and that follow an unchanging direction: love, goodness and evil, the truth… Trying to convey these values in a way that is easy for the reader to understand is a task, at times, very arduous. We never know how the reader will understand what we try to explain in a passage or a simple dialogue. But we always hope to reach this expectation and demonstrate that, however different we may be from one another, there are these ties that unite us and that make us understand each other better. In history, in order to contemplate what goodness is, it is necessary to explore evil, even if at a certain point you cannot say who is good and who is bad, the difference is there and it is demonstrated how to see it . Therefore, this adventure is told from family love and union through friendship,

“The Numbers of Ághora: Seven” explores themes such as cultivating love and overcoming obstacles to maturation. How do these aspects of the story reflect Elaine’s journey and her evolution over the course of the plot?

Elaine is a little girl who, being slightly above average at school, ends up being isolated by her peers. She has practically no friends outside her family, and this negatively affects her. When she arrives in a totally different world, with fantastic creatures living in harmony, it’s as if she found a new opportunity to make friends, because there she is just another different being like so many others. If on Earth Elaine preferred to close herself off in a more childish and private world due to the lack of company with people in her age range, when she establishes a bond of trust with her new friends, everything changes. Little by little, she stops being an intelligent but insecure girl and begins to have more confidence in herself, becoming a leader who guides her friends and encourages them to never give up. Even in the face of the greatest dangers, she is able to continue to rely on her abilities and her friends to solve any problem. It is precisely in Elaine’s sharp mind that all the solutions to Ághora’s biggest enigmas turn, but she doesn’t deceive herself, because this new way of seeing life also makes her a girl who is no longer afraid of even a good fight. With each kingdom visited, with each trap overcome, with each decision made, all the friends are transformed, little by little, from small beings into the great heroes that Ághora needs so much. because this new way of seeing life also makes her a girl who no longer fears even a good fight. Did your background in Pharmacy and your experience as a lawyer influence your approach to writing? How do these different areas of knowledge intertwine in your literary debut?

I have loved literature since I was very young, my files in the libraries of the schools I went through can attest very well what I say. I started writing when I was still in high school, but I dedicated myself more to comedy and short poems. Later I decided to tell some stories on a blog, but without disclosing these things. My academic background did not influence this particular story, here is all my love for the beautiful stories that I read throughout my life and that I drew inspiration from many. Of course, inspiration didn’t just come from books, as already mentioned. However, my areas of activity gave me the basis for other works already written. The change in perspective, or more strictly speaking, perception that a student has of the world after graduating greatly influences the way he will act in his life and even how he will tell a story.

When making your literary debut with “The Numbers of Ághora: Seven”, how do you hope readers connect with the story and the values conveyed by the book?

“The numbers of Ághora: Seven” is a work aimed at those who are beginning to feel the pleasure of reading books, whether physical or virtual, as that Fábio still in the fifth grade discovered how wonderful it was to enter a library for the first time and choose alone the book I wanted to read. It is not a story just for young readers. No matter the reader’s age, I’m sure it will be a dynamic read and full of interesting things. I think that, for younger readers, knowing a story based on someone of a young age can bring them closer to the characters and help each one to recognize themselves in one of them, or at least stimulate the imagination of this audience so that they put themselves in the shoes of these characters . To the elders, I’m sure that reading it can bring out the nostalgia of reading a light fantastic adventure, with a lot of action and investigation. I’m sure that many won’t be able to solve some of the riddles without reading the answers. I hope to be able to captivate readers through the feelings that each character can pass on to them and, above all, to be able to introduce them to a world that will be marked in the imagination of each one.

Could you share a little bit about the process of creating and developing Fábio BeGi as a writer, from the initial idea to the completion of this book?

Ághora was born from a dream. It wasn’t the first book I wrote, but it’s the one that makes me want to keep writing. In my dream, I was introduced to Elaine and the Phoenix on top of a mountain where I was shown an extensive kingdom. From there, I could contemplate the kingdom in almost all its essence. It was only a few minutes, enough minutes that I woke up instantly knowing that I had to put on paper what I had seen. I still didn’t know the name of that world, I confess that it was one of the last things that came up after completing the story. However, it was not a story made in a hurry. It took five years to write, then another time to revise and tweak. In the meantime, other stories emerged and were being written in parallel, but I always ended my weekends by rereading and adding a few more lines to the adventure. In many moments, this intertwining of ideas for different things made me have to stop one project and dedicate myself to another. I think it’s common in the mind of a writer or screenwriter to get lost among so many different themes that pop up in our heads endlessly, all at the same time and all the time. I couldn’t describe the incredible feeling of creating something like this, nor can I say if the worst moments are when you start this creation and ask yourself where to go from there or would it be, then, when you know that that last point is the final point about everything you created. A simple dream started my work, and my goal is to make people dream a little along with it. this intertwining of ideas for different things made me have to stop one project and dedicate myself to another. Besides “The Numbers of Ághora: Seven”, are there plans for more literary projects in the future? Can you give us a glimpse into what readers can expect from your upcoming works?

I have three works published in Kindle e-book format. None are sold in physical form, but we will soon be able to review this decision. In addition to “The Numbers of Ághora: Seven”, readers can find “IrreTOUCHABLE”, a fun story about a man who suffers from obsessive compulsive disorder and his adventures with his unusual friends (for all ages). There is also “Where are you, Mr. Jones?”, a story with a more adult theme in tales that intertwine and form a story that complements each other. Those who read each one of them, I already warn that they will have fun in some cases and will be a little sad in others. I also already have two more stories ready, one that will be published now, also on the Kindle platform and another that is still being revised. As for Ághora, I intend to write the first story,

Finally, what led you to choose the title “The Numbers of Ághora: Seven”? Is there any special meaning behind that name that you would like to share with readers?

When I wrote the story, I didn’t know what I would call this new world, for a while I just called the world I had created “Imaginary”, knowing that I would not keep that name, but that the chosen name would appear as the title of my story. The intention was to give the name of the book just by the name of the fantastic world that was born. However, conveying the idea that the story existed before and could continue afterwards resided in the fact that the names of the people in a family had a small difference compared to the others, a number completed the name of each of these special people. The fact that Elaine is called Elaine Seven is because she is the seventh person in this family to visit Ághora, others have come before her and others may come later.

The name Ághora came after a philosophy class, when a noble master spoke about ancient Greece and the place where the representatives of the people decided about everything in voting. This fit perfectly with the world I was describing, where representatives came together to choose the best way to act on each situation.

With the name of the world decided, it was necessary to give the title a complement that referred to two things: that it was a story for several books and that this story belonged to a specific character. Now, as everyone who goes to Ághora has a number in their surname, it seemed interesting to me to call it “The Numbers of Ághora” in reference to the humans who can access this world, as if in that way they also belonged to it, and Seven, because that the story of Elaine Seven. The title “The Numbers of Ághora: Seven” is born!
