Having participated in film, advertising, and audiovisual projects since he was a few months old, child actor Kevin Riccieri celebrates a new achievement in his career: passing an audition for Record TV. This result represents another step in the trajectory of a young talent who has been accumulating experience in various national productions, including working alongside renowned names in Brazilian audiovisual media. In an interview, Kevin and his family discuss the challenges of the selection process, the importance of family support in building an artistic career, and their expectations for this new professional phase.
Kevin, you began your artistic journey as a baby, at only three months old. When you look at everything you’ve done so far, which work do you find most special?
I enjoyed them all, but I think Bury Your Dead was one of the most special because it was a really cool experience and I learned a lot.
You’ve participated in films, advertising campaigns, and journalistic simulations. What do you enjoy most when you’re in front of the camera?
I enjoy pretending to be other people and living different stories. I also really enjoy meeting new people.
In Bury Your Dead, you played Edgar Wilson as a child, a character portrayed by Selton Mello. What was it like to be part of a film with such a memorable story?
It was great! I was happy to be a part of the film and I learned a lot during filming.
You’ve also worked on productions like Lord of Dreams, The Way of the Cross, and The Dream Is Over. What do you feel you learned on each new film set?
I’ve learned that there’s always something new to learn. Each job teaches me a little more about acting and about working with other people.
You recently passed an audition for Record TV after participating in a selection process in Rio de Janeiro. How was it to experience such an important moment?
I was so happy! I did my best on the test and when I heard the news I celebrated a lot with my family.
Your family traveled with you and supported you throughout this entire process. How much does this affection and encouragement help you feel more confident?
It helps a lot! I like knowing they’re with me. They give me courage and help me believe in my dreams.
In an evaluation like this, you need to interpret, communicate, and show poise in front of the cameras. What do you enjoy most about auditioning and showcasing your talent?
I enjoy showing what I’ve learned and creating different characters. Each audition is a new adventure.
After this achievement at Record and so many film projects, what is the next dream you would like to fulfill as an actor?
My dream is to continue making films, series and soap operas, to see many places and to work with people I admire.
